Wonderful result - new PB, 2nd place and they beat Pechalet/Bourzat! (something about them I just don't like!) I'm also pleased that Virtue/Moir are leading, because they're my second favourite team, though I would have preferred S/J in 1st! Roll on the OD, I can't wait! (although I'll be out )

I notice that Sergei Ponomorenko (1992 Olympic champ ice dance?) is the assistant technical specialist.
Random skater celebrity spotting!

Oh yes, the PB too! I think their previous was 35 something. I am excited for them! I am pretty happy with the all the placements based on what I watched. But like I said earlier, it's a good tool for comparison. Not quite as easy with the OD and FD especially. Their previous PB was 35.30. Well done guys!

B/B.. was multi-tasking so I don't have a good opinion on it. It didn't grab me away from what I was doing. 68.32 total C/J.. loved their quick feet! I thought they brought the irish to ice dancing. I will be interested to see how this develops throughout the season. 71.46 total I'm loving the crowd. They are so animated!

R/B's was cute. There were a few Shae/Victor hydroblade-like steps at the beginning. She may have had a slight misstep.. even I could hardly tell but it looked like she fell forward slightly but continued on no prob.
