thanks Lily and reut! and also thanks for the video interview, pia! he seems to have taken the right attitude towards his competition in Vancouver and it's good to see him slowly get over it. i also like how he's so nice and diplomatic about Evan's win and there's so whining and bashing on his part. a very well-mannered man. and the fact that he says that he's strong and healthy is simply excellent to hear!! i'm kinda sad about the last part though cause i'm fervently hoping he'll continue for at least one season.... but it's good he's honest with us and doesn't want to give us too much false hope. i'm really hoping he'll consider it thoroughly though

Thank you for scan. "He already forgot his dissapointment from Vancouver. "I needed some time. I spent a whole week there and it's easier to feel joyfull Olympic spirit with a medal around your neck. After 4th place finish I wanted it to be over soon." "But Lambiel is smiling again. He watched victories of Simmon Amman, cheered for the Swiss hockey players who played against USA. "I took trips around the city - the Canadians can create a festive atmosphere at the Olympics. It was even better than Turin. " Stephane is happy to work on AOI shows, first in Zurich, then in Lausanne. He won't have time to think too much. "We will be on the tour until middle of July. Plushenko organized tour in Eastern Europe and he invited me. We might be rivals but we really respect each other. Yesterday evening he met the Russian athlete who won the silver medal in Vancouver. In the rehersal participated the singer Anastasia and the violinist David Garett. Thanks to Garett Stephane will skate to Four Seasons once again. And not without pleasure. "With this music I won silver in Turin. " Balsam for his soul."

... and I won't know because I don't know German Sha, here's a beautiful translation by digitus quintus: absoluteskating.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Stphane&action=display&thread=3629&page=16*************************************************** I'm very sorry, but I'm not able to translate Stephane's interview for NZZ - the vid doesn't want to download , and so it's impossible for me to catch up with Stephane's words... Elanor, thank you for the translation of the Geneve-vid!

here's a rough translation of the NZZ video (i hope it got most of the stuff right): he says that it's great that the rehearsals start already so soon after his return because then he doesn't have too much time to think about what happened in Vancouver. he has no regrets about Vancouver, it was a beautiful adventure for him. unfortunately he didn't manage to do what he had planned but otherwise everything else was ok, just the medal wasn't there. he says the five days after the competition were very hard cause he had to 'mourn' over it and it took some time to accept it. but now it's over and done with and he must move on. he is glad about the shows, he has a lot of them planned until July basically all over the world. he says this is a beautiful life then he says the whole Olympic experience was totally worth it. this Olympic goal also made him focus on his health more in order to stay healthy for the games and this gave him a lot of strength for future. and that perhaps without this goal he wouldn't have focused on his body so much and it wouldn't have gone so well with the shows and everything. he says that now he is strong an healthy he has found a solution to his injury and without Vancouver he wouldn't be where he is today. so it all worked out well for him the interviewer also asks about Evan's win and that his program wasn't exactly the most difficult one. but Steph stays very mature about it and says that he believes that the person who showed the best performance that day won. and that's sport - one day is your day, the other one is not. and Evan used his opportunity well and he deservedly earned the title. the interviewer also mentions that Plushenko was not happy about the results but Stephane says they haven't talked about it with Plushenko. but that Plushenko just has to accept the results since it's a sport where judges decide who is the best and they have to accept what judges say. he says they have a lot of respect towards each other, he's happy that Plushenko is there and they'll surely have a good time. they'll do a tour together in April and it will be super he doesn't go to the Worlds because his goal was Vancouver, he reserved all his energy for the Olympics. Worlds were not in his plans, now it goes on with the shows. he doesn't know yet whether he'll continue competing or not. however, he also adds that he must be honest and say that right now he doesn't think there will be any more competitions for him; his plan was till Vancouver and in the end the interviewer asks him if we can see Stephane Lambiel as the leading act of Art on Ice (i suppose) also in 2025 when he's forty and Steph says that perhaps not for that long but hopefully at least for some more years

thank you for translation! yes, he is very mature in what he is telling. He's not leting others to "force" him to say too much or something what he could regret later. And about the last sentence - it made me thinking. I am really curiouse what he will be doing when he will have 40 will he be a trainer? actor? choreograph? other?

kadri, thanks for translation. I especially appreciate what Stephane said about Lysacek's win, so right about it. I hate all pseudo-controversies and empty talk from people who are not able to acknowledge someone skated better on the day when it counted or that their favorites are not the best skaters out there. Some skaters can put me off by their mere behavior. The most important thing I wanted to hear is that Stephane's health is good. I hope it stays like this and holds to his crazy schedule.
