Thank you for the info, namiki! I suppose it's a new show - I've never heard this name before. I hope for a TV broadcast - because Stephane can follow his tradition and show something new in Japan - not a new program, he is too short of time for that now, but maybe Tainted love he seems to have given up on or La Traviata which is worthy of more performances than 2 in competition. I think Traviata would really shine exactly in a gala where Stephane doesn't have to think about the jumps all the time and would fly over the ice to this great music.

Thank you, namiki. Great show, I love the cast. I hope we get to see this treat. Me too, I dream Stephane skates Traviata again and Japan is the place they would appreciate it. Maybe someone mention to him how beautiful it is and that many people wish to see it. In Your Eyes is also lovely, maybe he would like to keep it. Or skate Tell program, it is a great program for gala.

And "In your eyes" too. And "Ne me quitte pas". And some new program he is thinking about! Source: www.championat.ru/other/article-52012.htmlHis recent interview in Russian. If someone will have time to translate it, this would be great!

thanks for the article, reut! he really does have a lot of programs to choose from. but i'm also rooting for Travita, like some of you. it's just such a beautiful program and deserves to be be seen many many times more. i can't imagine where he'd find the time to put together a new program...but you never know with Stephane!

The galas in Japan sounds really interesting! I'd love to go to and visit Japan and at the same time see some skating!! I'm not sure about doing it this year, though. Does anyone know how much a good hotel would cost in Japan (in Japanese Yen)?

Does anyone know how much a good hotel would cost in Japan (in Japanese Yen)? iloveprincecaspian, Sorry I don’t know exact cost ‘cause I’ve hardly stayed so good/gorgeous hotels. but it depends the location, in a big city like Tokyo or somewhere local. In Japan, there is no information about these shows. Actually, Stephane’s schedule is the first and only information about these shows!! I went today’s Diamond Ice show. Stephane did La Traviata, very just after his long flight from Sweden. Of course, it had less jumps, but another was almost full-version. All jumps that he did were clean. His movement caught the music. It was wonderful! The audience burst into applause. Adding this, he did the last half part of Tell for encore. At that time, all spectators rushed into crazy! Stephane got the biggest applause in the show, I think. (but someone may say “ same as Dai-chan or next to Dai-chan”.) I’m very happy to see them. In today’s show, there were only 4 skaters to (be let to) do encore, Mao, Dai-chan, Miki, and Stephane. At opening, Stephane did a spiral, rotating around his hands lying down (sorry, I don’t know how to explain this movement) and a spin. At finale, Stephane and Tomas appeared together. They did ballet-jumps like Stephane and Shizuka in Thin Ice, and did a spin. Later, they did a jump together. He looked happy and not so exhausted on the ice, but off ice, I don’t know… I really appreciate Stephane coming to Japan when he is so busy. Not only me but also all Japanese fans think so. And we also worry about his health. I hope he can keep his good condition after these shows. I’m also very sorry, in Japan, we(audience) are not allowed to record videos of shows and take photos. I hope some news organizations will update articles about the show on the internet. sorry for my poooooor English...

ann, thank you so much for your report! I was waiting for it. I'm glad to know that he changed "Traviata" to fit to the show format. Hope, we'll see it again sometime. Was the arena full if you say there was no advertisement?
