Not much info as for now. Daisuke skated to "Amélie" which is, I guess, the "second" program Steph choreographed for him. Few tweets about the show: "Dai's new EX looks like Stepahane is using Dai's body. Amazing." "Dai's costume was like a girl black ballet leotard plus Jeans. Spins look getting better btw." "Lambiel got most banners and Plushenko got loudest cheer. People love them." twitter.com/tmidorinActually I'm not sure I was happy to read about "Stephane using someone's body" thing... First, because then I will be sad that he is not using his body instead (meaning not skating that program himself). Second, because I hope to see something innovative, different. Well, all these are speculations. I need to see the program first. Do you know this person, who writes in this twitter? I, no. (I hope you have a permission to link to here. ) 1) This person is not only one, who writes about the impression of the show. 2) Daisuke said, there are many Lambiel-movements in the program and Stéphane wrote, this program is going to improve a lot. I think, they know what they do and what they have to do. 3) This program is just very very new. Shall we wait a little.... Of course, I wish Stéphane many success as a choreographer!

Do you know where Daisuke said that? I mean, does he have a twitter or a blog? Yesterday, I started YouTubing him, but for what I've seen untill now, he's not really comfortable expressing himself in english. But I really would like to know more about him, because for a Japanese person, he's more expressive than I'm used to (and I'm not used to a lot, so please nobody be offended). I like that. Salut, Fenna

Every composer, every choreographer has his own handwriting - this is not bad, it's normal.

We know, that Daisuke will learn the short program of Shae-Lynn Bourne in summer but in this news paper is written a bit wrong Mr. Lambiel choreographed for Daisuke a short program, too. He has also an another short program which is choreographed from Shae-Lynn Bourne. "It might be that I'll go to retire next year, so l want to ask to choreograph to peaple, whose program I want to do so long I skate."

Does Shae-Lynn has plans to retire or Daisuke? Well, anyway, it doesn't matter too much. Thanks also for the YouTube with the tiny little piece of Daisuke, and the link to the music. It's real Stéphane music. Starts slowly, but intense and then builds to a climax. Wonderful. And the film Amelie is a very touching movie, so I already like this choice of music a lot. Perhaps someone will make a map for downloading not only the music Stéphane ever skated to, but also a map of music he choreographed. I really would like to add this beautiful walse to my playlist. But hé, it's easy asking since I don't know how to do that, but if no-one has the time or energy, I'll understand. Just suggesting. Salut, Annelfie

Thanks a lot for the news, reut and pianomaya! The vid with excerpts from Asada and Dai's programs is beautiful! And although the Dai's part is so short, it's possible to hear the new interpretation of the well-known waltz and Stephane's 'logo' movements in the spin! Every composer, every choreographer has his own handwriting - this is not bad, it's normal. Schnaddel, I second this! The 'creator's' handwriting is very often felt - a coach's, too, to say nothing of a choreographer. I pray the interpretation of the Amelie waltz is becoming to the audience. It seems different from the variants that Sarah Meier and Kristopher Bertntsson used. Annelfie, as far as I know, Shae-Lynn retired from competitive sports long ago and now she's doing very succesfully as a choreographer. I'm afraid it's Takahashi who's going to retire after 2011 Worlds in Japan . But I do wish he wouldn't! Their collaboration with Stephane has just begun and it's so much to improve! Your idea about a collection of music Stephane uses in his choreographic creations seems very appealing. I believe we all have to think it over And the last but not the least:just to remind that the broadcast of the DOI show will be tomorrow from 1.00 to 2.00 p.m. (Japanese time) on Fuji TV. As for the channel, I'm sorry to have no idea...

Thanks. I knew shae-Lynn doesn't compete anymore (I like to YouTube on her and Kraatz whenever I want to see beautir=ful hydroglading. I like it that some people take this up, like Stéphane did in In your eyes) so perhaps she meant retiring all-together. But I couldn't believe that. She's having great fun at Art on Ice and Thin Ice. I remeber I saw an interview with Stéphane, I think it was from 2005 when he won his first Worlds. He was asked about the future and hoped to compete many more years. He actually mentioned he thought 25 was a normal age to leave competition. Right then he smiled because it seemed so far away :-) Competition is hard, I can imagine they want to retire from it and with all they've learned and achieved, do shows and gala's. I saw Daisuke had had his share of medical treatment also. I think there comes a time your body needs to live more according to the peace it needs. And about the broadcasting: does anyone have a URL!!! I can't navigate on those Japanese internetpages because I don't understand their script. Salut, Annelfie

Thank you pianomaya for posting this, it's simply beautiful! I'm a sucker for the Amélie soundtrack anyway and from what I can see here, it's a beautiful choice for Dai. I can't wait to see the full program. On an off-topic note: I really like Mao's flowing dress and her music, it's a nice change for her from the usual high collars and heavy music.

Hello AnnelfieThis sentence "It might be that I'll go to retire next year, so l want to ask to choreograph to peaple, whose program I want to do so long I skate." said Daisuke, like in this Céline's Interview absoluteskating.com/interviews/2010takahashilambiel.htmlBy the way... You know now, why but for what I've seen untill now, he's not really comfortable expressing himself in english. because.... I put the article into google translation, but that didn't make too much sense. Japanese and english are so different. You have to turn the brain. (I know, my english is just a disaster, sorry about it.) But I think, Dai can understand, what other people say.

To the question above: no, I didn't contact the owner of the twitter I gave a link to. Same way I don't ask permission when I give a link to some post on some forum, or to some blog. Or to someone's video posted on YouTube. As long as the entry is open to anybody on the web I feel free to give a link to it. If the rules have been changed since then, please, update me about it.
