thalassa - i'm really sorry that someone put up your private video like that. i can never understand why people would do this after they're specifically asked not to it's frustrating and disrespectful but anyway, i want to thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us! it really does sound like a little Christmas miracle your daughter is a lucky little girl and it seems that Stephane was as charming as ever

Thank you kadri, yes Stéph was more than charming! I am just so upset and hurt and angry at myself that something like this could happen. Of course there's nothing bad in the video but who wants to know the whole world how your family looks etc. Those were our private moments and we had so much joy and fun and wanted to keep this for ourselves. Yes there were press people around and a lot of pics were taken but you don't want to see yourself in the internet, right? Anyway it happened and it was a good lesson for me. I will never ever upload anywhere private things again!

Dear thlassa- I just emailed you but it was not an unkind person who put your private video on YouTube but my horrible Internet mistake. I swear I had selected "private" for the video, much as we kept the ATS meeting videos unlisted- and I don't know if my kids fooled around with it since they were on my computer that morning...I don't know how she was able to view the private video unless somehow the settings were changed.
Anyway I immediately deleted it when I saw Reut had posted it and I emailed her to remove all mention of it but never got an email back. Of course I cannot get people to "unsee" your precious family time, and I can only beg that anyone who may have uploaded delete the file and save the public footage you shared with your story.
I cannot apologize enough for my computer ignorance and of course there is no way to repair the damage.

The video wasn't "private" and wasn't "unlisted". Yes, probably someone's mistake, but for sure not mine. I answered your mail as soon as I read my e-mail, I'm not online all the time, sorry.

Thalassa, I'm so sorry for what had happened. Please still accept our heartfelt thanks for the beautiful story. You know, it was all private experience and you could have kept it all to yourself, but you still shared it with us. It was very kind and sweet of you! Marni, TBH, were I you I might not have had the guts to speak out, so thank you for telling us this! We all have to be more careful using those sites like youtube, twitter...cuz just like most of modern inventions, they can be harmful even if we don't mean to when we use them.

Marlin you are very welcome and thank you all the others too for your understanding. Yes you are sooo right! The new media are really something interesting and useful, but they can have their dangers, one false click and a big wave can roll over you... Marni told me there were not too many people watching only about 20, so I think it is not spread too much. There was nothing bad or embarassing in the video, it was just not meant to be public. But it happened and we cannot change it, and Marni explained everything to me and I want to let you know that we are still friends :-) I am no recentful person and for me the story is now finished and (almost) forgotten.

I'm glad you all could work it out together! I can tell you that I was one of the 20 that watched the video and didn't do anything with it, just enjoyed it, because it was so nice to see how lovely Stéphane was with your little daughter and how she enjoyed it and spoke to him. So to be honest, it was a joy to watch, but I can also understand very well that you were shocked to find out that it was on YouTube. When you have no intention to share it with the whole world, that is very unpleasant to find out. One wants to be in control about what appears of you on the internet. So I'm glad you're (almost) already ready to leave it all behind you. I just watched the video (I follow twitter all the time and I have a google watch on what new video's appear about 'Lambiel'). I didn't upload the video or anything (I don't know how to do that from YouTube), so it's not on my computer. I hope after the shock you can now go on just enjoying the memory of your wonderful moments with Stéphane! Salut, Annelfie
