jomeku, my first interview with Stephane was during Art on Ice 2009 (wow, almost 5 years ago already). It was this talk: absoluteskating.com/index.php?cat=interviews&id=2009lambielAnd he was talking in different voices, showing me everything with his hands and different gestures. While during the talk he didn't know how to say "insole", he just opened his shoe and took it out!! Amazing memories... And in a way he haven't changed a bit, and I'm really glad that it is so.

"I'm a little bit crazy" the title of that interview. (I remember it and will read it again, even more attentive after your little story . It's true, often I could watch his interviews without even understanding a word and would still like them (what does not mean that he has not interesting things to say). He talks so much with his gestures, facial expressions, it's just unique (and me too I hope that won't change) .

I took the chance today to attend "Amriswil on ice" and I am glad I did: the event was sweet and to see Stephane again, more of it very near, was wonderful! In fact it was the this years opening ceremony for the public, temporary open-air ice rink in the middle of the market place of this small village in the east of Switzerland. The ceremony consisted of the presentation of village officials (entering the ice on a sleigh, one of them disguised as "father frost") and sponsors … and the guests: the swiss ice dance champions (Ramona Elsener and Florian Rost) and as biggest star Stephane (of course) . The whole ceremony lasted a bit over one hour, then the rink was given to the public skaters. Both guest stars presented two programs each. Stephane first skated "Tell" and a short time later, after a small pause, his "Chorus Line" (like in Moscow two weeks ago). He skated both programs perfectly and seemed to be in such a good mood: he smiled and acted all along his programs (and shouted a "hey.." during his 'Tell'). Actually I went to Amriswil hoping to see "A Chorus Line" live .. and was lucky! I loved it, it looks so easy (Stephane seems so light when performing it), so many interesting details in this program. Great! And I loved to see Tell again, of course! Small detail: While Stephane was waiting to enter the ice for Tell, the presenter of the event ('father frost') introduced him quoting his curriculum quite detailed. Stephane, aiming to keep himself warm, started to do some gymnastics. Seeing this, the spectators near to me started to shout: "Stop talking and let him come now!" But I think the officials were very proud to have Stephane and it was sweet how they presented him. At the end, Stephane was interviewed for a moment, then he asked if we wanted to see a final spin. Of course we wanted … and Stephane did a long, wonderful one in the center of the rink. Then it was over . Unfortunately, I have only a very short video (in bad quality) of the end of the interview and two or three non professional pictures of Stephane's 'Chorus Line'. But hopefully somebody else has? Besides: During the short interview in the end, after 'Chorus Line', Stephane said that next week he would be in Moscow for a kind of professionals competition, but easy and without rules. Does anybody know something more about this?

Thank you stephanie2006 for posting of videos. It was nice show with very warm atmosphere. I was very exiting to see him so near When the wind blew, leaves came of trees on the ice. His training began with picking up fallen leaves. (No video from this) Then he checked his choreography of Tell, had some fun with Swiss ice dancer Ramona Elsener and Florian Roost, who performed there too. After the music through run he pulled off his jacket and suddenly showed few nice jumps Then training was finish. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UmA6tRvopAThe show began with arrival of Santa Claus. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEAu4LPJvcgThen Ice Dance - Tell - Zamboni www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-tpB_EobAs (The side behind of the zamboni was for vip) Then Ice Dance - A Chorus Line. After A Chorus Line he got some present from the organizer and there was a short talk, then he said "Do you want to see more spin?" www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIGdpICns1QMy camera was already in the bag so I grabbed it quickly but couldn't keep it right so my finger was not on zoom button. Sorry for the small picture therefore. Add: I've noticed in some countries A Chorus Line is blocked, so here for download it. www.mediafire.com/watch/lq32m6l0l340q94/Stephane_Lambiel_A_Chorus_Line_Amriswil

So nice to see Stephane, though I didn't understand a word. Can you, please, tell about the new details? In short. I'm also copying this to the Articles&Photos section as it has nothing to do with European shows. Can you, please, post the answer there? Thanks!
