Thank you for videos about Stephane in London and his preparations and practice for AOI I try to translate some parts. Stephane says that in the first part (of the show) he will have a program 'quite Rock', and in the second part, when Leona sings, he will skate to his favorite song of hers: 'Run'. That he and his choreographer imagined a lot of speed and - as the song was called 'Run' - "It will move". Stephane then tells when and how he started to skate for AOI more than ten years ago and how he got suport from Oliver Höner even before etc etc. Later in the video, before entering the ice for practice, he says that he was about to try to remember the choreography (to Leona Lewis' 'Run'), which he elaborated with his choreographer (Salomé Brunner) some weeks ago. But that since then he has had some shows and has had to work on the programs for those shows. And now his head was full of various choreographies to memorize. That now he wanted to make a first try on the ice, "just for my brain". Goes on the ice. (At a certain moment he says that he loves the refrain, then s'thing about a specific movement he crated with Salome.) Stephane: "It is a lot of work, but above all it is guided by passion, passion and pleasure. I think if you want to be in the environment of shows you have to work seriously, but you should not take yourself too seriously. I realized quite soon: also in figure skating you really have to sweat (= work hard), talent alone is not enough. But then you have to have a certain distance to it again: you do it because you want to do it and not to justify anything or to prove s'thing to somebody - you do it for yourself. It is not only in the world of spectacles but also somehow a sense in life: What we do, we do it for ourselves. I like doing what I do and - what is even better - I can share my pleasure with many people. I liked a lot doing competitions and I gave everything at compet's, so no regrets there. And what I live now is what I want to live now: shows, a bit on stage and a lot on ice. I started to teach a bit, I love to transmit, to explain figure skating: how to move, how to express the body. It is very interesting and now I can understand why I so much wanted to start skating when I was seven." At the end, running on the ice, Stephane says (I guess having the story of his choreography in mind): There is something that holds me back and pushes me towards Leona. (He runs, saying that he has to get her back). I start to be curious about this program. (And hope my translation is understandable) .

Preview from Paint it Black! From Stéphane's facebook page: ( I think that I will sing this song until tomorrow! Now I understand the meaning of what he said during the meeting: "it's more energy than lines" )

So impatient to see this program! And so excited Stephane is posting now things like that. P.S. someone on lambiel_ru noticed that Stephane might be intentionally copying some of Mick Jagger's moves: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf35K2Ps_aYHm... interesting...

Thank you, anna and reut! Wow: If the whole program is so full of the energy, in the end he must be out of breath completely.
It is true: I see Mick Jagger at around second 17 and again 31. Impressing!
