Yes, MaRaMaya, I feel lucky too I can't believe it's only two weeks.. (Feels like I just came back from Budapest and now I'm leaving again). I thought that first show in Helsinki I'll just go and enjoy, feel, watch.. without camera. In Stockholm I'll try to get some decent pictures and if they're good enough to share, I'll put them on Flickr and share the link.

Thank you very much, reut, for all the links and especially to the very interesting article "The artists behind "Art on Ice" spill their secrets". I always wondered if first they chose a show act and after the 'fitting' skaters or opposite round or … . . I never thought that skaters can be so actively involved in the process. I knew they might choose the song they want to skate to, but that then they have to adapt to the singers. So interesting to have a clear picture now. I would so much like to be able to once follow the process from the beginning, for example from the moment Stephane has an idea, the discussions until the final result. Would be worth a documentary.I'm looking forward to news about the todays opening night of AOI. Of course especially to hear about Stéphane's programs … but also if Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov and Adelina Sotnikova managed to make it to the premiere. I read that they flew back to Moscow to attend an invitation of Vladimir Putin for the Olympic medalists at 11 this morning. That afterwards they would get an escort through the Moscow traffic directly to the airport and to their plane to be back after 8pm in Zurich where they would get a VIP-Service transport directly to the 'Hallenstadion' for AOI. Sounds to be a really busy program for them .

Well, also because he is in Swizerland and can start working with musicians/ideas much earlier. Glad you liked the article.

Thank you soooo much !!! I already found them on YouTube, because I subscribed to your channel and wanted to post the links over here, because I was so enthousiastic, but I thought you might want to post the link yourself :-) Just expressing my enthousiasm that your wonderful videos make me see what I want to see of Art On Ice, since I cannot be there. And what a wonderful program Stéphane made again. So sorry for his fall at the end, but that does not take away the magic of the rest of the performance.... Also a bit not nice that the audiance thought the program had ended with the head-spin, we missed out a bit on the delicate music at that point, but otherwise, just soooooo beautiful !!! And thanks so much for making the video and sharing it as soon as possible !!! Salut, Annelfie

www.srf.ch/player/tv/glanz--gloria/video/art-on-ice-vermissen-lambiel-und-meier-das-rampenlicht?id=dff6b0ef-edce-428f-81d1-ad691c6d47f2I just listened to this item in Ganz und Gloria (thanks for posting the link on twitter) and they keep saying that 'all has gone quiet on Stéphane Lambiel' and that 'he can not do technically anymore what he could, but that the audiance 'still buys it'' And they end the interview with saying that once a year, when there is Art On Ice, there is a bit of attention for Lambiel and Maier. Like Stéphane is not in the attention all over the world and that all the ice-shows want to have him. I thought Ganz und Gloria followed Stéphane and knew about him. But it sounds like they have NO IDEA of the star Stéphane still is in figure skating.... Salut, Annelfie

Does anyone know more? In this video, at 3:50, Stéphane is asked what was wrong, because he went into physiotherapie right after the show www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_W0s-eaa6QHe answers that he and Kurt Browning have their personal physiotherapist with them, also in Scandinavia and that he feels very fortunate about that. He says that the tour is very heavy to do. He has 2 complicated choreo's in the show and he really needs physio after each show, to be able to skate again the next day. Now I know that he always needed to stretch and do excercises after having been out of competition in 2008. But I always heard him say after the Olympics in 2010, that (after being sick for 5 days for not medalling there), he just thinks about the joy the way to Vancouver gave him, because it gave him back to be able to skate again. And I think he added: painfree. But lately, I more often hear him talk about pain and about the difficulties to get things done on the ice.... I SO much hope that he can continue for a long time, like Kurt Browning, to share with us his wonderful interpretations on the ice. And it looks like he still know what his body needs....just keep my fingers crossed that his body can hold on for more years to come... Do you also have the impression that he has more body-problems than he used to have for some time after retiring from competitions in 2010? Salut, Annelfie

Once again thank you for uploading so fast. You know we are waiting for these vids like for Sunday cake. I'm doing my work and keep refreshing every 5 minutes. The program is strange and disturbing. But it has a great intensity and strong effect achieved by simple means and emotional depth. It's so sad. The choreography uses instrumentation very nicely. Breaking movement against the slow, monotonous rhythm is very effective, and moving, it's like fighting against the current. I didn't focused on the lyrics other than "i don't feel safe", it's kind of overwhelming for the first time. The costume is great, colors add to it in some way, Stephan'es easthetic sensitivity is always so unusual, he comes up with things that nobody else would think about and it works. I sometimes wish he didn't do spins in programs like this, his skating alone and choreography is so interesting, fascinating, it is more than enough to draw and impress.

Salut, Annelfie Maybe it is Marla, a physiotherapist that he worked with before who greatly helped him? She works with the canadian skaters so maybe she came with them to the tour? Stephane took his therapist and used physio before on the tours, it is not something new for him and not something to worry about.
