I've finally had a chance to watch all the new Art on Ice videos and it's been a morning of joy. Wish I could go and see one of these shows in person. Thank you to everyone who has compiled and posted the photos and videos here. The Grieg program is so so incredible. There is a beautiful sense of freedom and ease in it. The spin during that section with the cascading trill of notes gave me chills (the one at 1:40 in estephania's video). He moves so wonderfully- it would be interesting to see him do ballet or contemporary dance off the ice at some point. Also, loved the costume. His shirt looks so soft and flowy! I want one just like it! The Water... I loved Stephane's new approach to the choreography, since I haven't seen anything like it in his other programs. It felt very mature and thoughtful. The only problem is that I am really not a fan of the music, so that kind of diminishes my enjoyment.

I had not seen it before; I don't think it's on youtube otherwise I would have found it. As a brand new fan, it's so much fun to discover little bits from Stephane's career that I'm sure long-time fans have already seen. My French is very elementary though, so I wasn't able to understand everything. The ballet class looked so fun! And Stephane was adorable doing ballet- I think if he wasn't a skater, he would have made an incredible dancer. I have to admit I giggled a little at the part when he unexpectedly fell over during the practice for Let The Good Times Roll routine... It did make me disproportionately sad hearing him talk about the Vancouver Olympics while looking so melancholy (even though that was so long ago).

Finale in Lausanne: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnyeyEXmF_EStephane pushing quad, then doing triples with Trankov and looking happy leaving the stage but Kurt Browning has the last say with the band.
