The second show was absolutely better than first, so I'm glad I bought a ticket for both evenings

My version of Va pensiero www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLpZIqtF0Ro&feature=youtu.beFilming in this show, some say it was like Holiday on ice, was challenging, as a lot was going on at the same time. I kept focussing on Stéphane, the TV broadcast will surely show more around him too but also cut in the singer and underlying moderation what usually destroys the atmosphere a bit.

Hi Pia I felt the show on Sunday went smoother (sorry, I don't know the words how to tell my thoughts in English). It felt like Saturday was the rehearsal and Sunday was the actual show. There was less bustle with those carpets and so on.. (And I think it's also because I saw it from two totally different angles. On Saturday I was sitting higher, and more distant from Ice, so I saw it better on the whole. Sunday I was almost next to Ice, and saw the details better, noticing more skating and less special effects.) I really enjoyed the show on Sunday

Thank you for all the videos! I will for sure watch and re-watch them. I wonder if there was some articles/reports about the show in Italian press. Did you see anything? The second show was definitely better. On Saturday with the invited guests at the beginning, in the middle and in the end (each time put carpet, take carpet away, correct ice) the magic of the ice show was ruined for me. On Sunday evening they did all the boring stuff at the beginning (50 minutes! I checked) but then I could really enjoy the show. And I'm glad I didn't write my impressions after the first show. Because now they are totally different, of course. Stéphane was the protagonist of the show. And, of course, it's an amazing experience when you see him on the ice during almost the whole show! (I can only imagine how challenging and tiring that was for him). The group numbers were exceptional. Loved them all! The story was nice and he showed really well the development of his character. Costumes were crazy-beautiful (still I loved the most the simple white one he wore at the end of the "fire" group number) and he was sooooo handsome in all of them *swooning smiley* I loved less his programs though. It was beautiful skating, I enjoyed watching him, I did. But they were not complete pieces, like many of his other programs. But after the meeting I understood that, first, I had to notice more what happens on the ice and around because he relates to all that (images on the ice and people). And, second, I kind of got from what he said the idea, that I can't really evaluate his programs separately. They all are part of the whole story, of how his personage evolves.

Another video of Nessun Dorma from a distance so the stage and effects are well visible. It looks beautiful but somewhat overwhelming with all the lights, I liked the beginning the most and when he spins within the circles. All the geometry and space it reminds the recent photo session: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzsYMabhKXkand the whole finale: www.youtube.com/watch?v=34ne2lerMyo

Thank you to everyone SO much for sharing all your videos and impressions!!!! . So precious! I have been to both shows too and have nothing to add, agree with all of you. And it's - of course - so interesting what Stephane himself says about the shows during the meeting! I also had the impression that the first evening was like kind of rehearsal for 'the real', the second, show. With incomprehensible interruptions (to which the audience responded with 'the wave'/'La Ola' and clapping) and the other above described stuff. All this disturbed, but did not destroy the event with it's beautiful stage setting, light effects and the story so wonderfully interpreted on the ice, in wonderful pictures. I enjoyed this immensely (fully only the second day). And I've never seen more beautiful group numbers before, had shivers watching them (maybe especially 'Carmina Burana')! Looking forward to seeing it all again on Canale 5, Italien TV, on Saturday 27th, 9.10 CET! Writing about it, so many nice details are coming back from Sunday's show: Stephane getting standing ovation for his "Nessun dorma" (shared with the whole cast). The first persons getting to their feet were the ones closest to the stage, then people started to stand up behind them and up until the arena top like in a wave (again ), it looked nice! Stephane - and everybody - deserved it so much! Carolina skated to 'Ave Maria' at the end of the show. What a beautiful surprise! And it was touching to see how the whole cast built a circle around Carolina and Stephane (who stood beside her and took her in his arms when she was in tears after her speech). ... I'm intrigued by the fact that in the media the whole show is perceived only as a "glamour and party event" of "Intimissimi" (lingerie/underwear), "showing their latest styles to the press and public away from the catwalks of Milano on the spectacular frozen over amphitheatre of the Arena di Verona" (getty-images). Even if "Intimissimi" is the main sponsor, I thought the show deserved another approach (don't know how to explain, really). Besides what elanor found, I've just seen a few nice press pictures here: www.glamour.ru/celebrity/parties/913280/#gallery5/slide6
