Thank you so much for the translation of this interesting interview, taipeifollowers (and kira!), and for the lovely pictures that accompanied the article. LOL at Stephane referring to Carolina as figure skating's Anna Pavlova! I really liked his comments about Midori Ito. I do hope Stephane's body lets him keep skating for many years to come because his passion, creativity and intellectual depth seem boundless, luckily for us!
I agree with you all about his funny Evgeny comment!

You are welcome, Jomeku Really thank my friend Kira, you know, last Friday we got the magazine, kira and I, we sat in the bookstore floor, she immediately translated content (her work is very busy), and I use the phone record what she said, and then I go home to audio files codifying, and then translated into English, so spent some time, sometimes, I really hope that some Japanese friends are willing to translate, because we are worried that Japanese misunderstood.

Thank you for posting this nice, little interview, taipeifollowers! Isn't it just amazing that we all can understand a text written in Chinese? It never ceases to impress me

Dear taipeifollowers and kira, I don't know what to say because "thank you" is definitely not enough. I think I can imagine how difficult and time-consuming it was for you to translate this for us. I am delighted and very grateful that you bought the magazine and shared it with us. You are our benefactress, girls! Thank you! “If talk about today's most sophisticated ice show performances, Stéphane Lambiel's name will instantly float to mind it.”For me this is more than sure that Stéphane is the best professional skater in the world right now. There is no doubt about that. "... SENSE is between the heart and thinking, like my skating school, show, choreography, my projects on this side, emotional performance on the other side, now my life back and forth between the two."It is absolutely amazing how many meanings has "Sense" for Stéphane, and now for us "About Nessun Dorma." - may I be completely honest? This program is beautiful. His body lines there are out of this world. But probably because of the fact that the music is so (what is the word for a piece of music that is used too often?) I cannot count it as one of my top favorites. Sorry Stéphane, I know you love to perform it. I much more prefer "Va Pensiero" from that show. "when I practice, I work so hard in my mind, such as rhythm, lyrics, dance steps"It’s #ThrowbackThursday so, let me remind you one of my favorite videos from the run through. I think it perfectly visualize those words - www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLtPGxH7ylY "...the same music playing at home, and in the ice rink is not the same feeling, maybe I listen to this music at home, I like it, but if in the rink, I couldn’t feel the same energy, perhaps the song is inappropriate..."Did anyone manage to listen to the song mentioned by Stéphane during the fan meeting in Taipei? ("Sometimes It Snows In April" by Prince) I have to tell you that I spent a while for the search but found nothing. It looks as it disappeared completely from YT. I did listen a really nice cover by Patricia Kaas - www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dp8yLiUJ1I What you think about the idea of skating to that song? "...sometimes I have questions, such as why so many years Plushenko performing the same track, but I think maybe the music is not important for Plushenko, but for me, music is really important."Well, I'm so uninterested in Evgeni's work that I didn't even know he always skates the same programs in shows. I had the privilege to compare Stéphane and Evgeni skating live and I've seen enough. I respect him as a highly successful athlete. "In Lambiel passionate conversation..." Oh, I'm sure we all can imagine this passion on his face... and in his hands I really loved this interview and the pictures are

Thank you for all the scans, taipeifollowers. And for your (and your friend's!) dedication and time and efforts to translate for us that interview, it was really interesting and deep. Not often we're lucky to get those.
