Hi everyone! I've just introduced myself in the other thread and tomorrow I'll be in Verona with my mother for the show We'll stay there until Saturday afternoon, so I'd really love to join the fan meeting at noon. I saw some videos of previous fan meetings and it's such a wonderful thing that you organise all this! It would be the first time for me, so I don't know exactly how it works: is there a specific meeting point? Maybe just outside the Arena in front of one of its gates? I'm asking this because I will have no Internet connection on my phone, so I won't be able to check all the details later. I could help translating a little. Mostly from/to Italian, but I understand some Spanish, French and German too, just in case...

inyoureyes, you just need to enter the Arena and you will see a big group of people (mostly females... ), you won't miss them.

Perfect! I think I'll go for the 10 EUR ticket because we won't have a lot of time to visit the city on Saturday and tomorrow we'll arrive there quite late. Thank you very much!!!! So, unless our plans change, see you all there! Can't wait! Edit: I forgot... Unfortunately our tickets are the non-numbered ones. Any suggestions about how to get the best (=lowest) "seats" there? Do we have to be there much earlier than the opening time (that I think would be around 19.00 - 19.30)? The only time I've been inside the Arena for an event I had a "poltronissima" seat, so I didn't have to worry about such things. Sorry for the slight OT ^^ it's just because I don't want to see Stéphane as little as an ant

Not too long until your meeting... I hope you ladies have a terrific time and that Stephane is in good form.
I'm sure you've all been working on a good long list of questions for Stephane for some time but just in case you need some more I've been wondering....
About coaching. So now that Stephane is teaching what would he do if he was to meet a nine year old boy who was as talented, and driven, and stubborn as he himself had been at that age? A boy with the potential to become a champion. What would he do with when such a student grew older and developed his own opinions? I'm sure he uses Peter Grütter's training as a foundation but given all he has learned in the last years how would he accommodate the IJS requirements and the necessity of jumping the quad with the health and artistic ideas of his student?

inyoureyes, gates open at 19:30. There are separate gates for non-numbered tickets, so the closer to the gate you're when it opens, the better. If you want better seats you probably would want to come even at 18:30-18:45.
I love your question, catsgocrazy. Hope someone can ask that! I'm not sure I understand the second half of it though. While competing Stephane could "accommodate the IJS requirements and the necessity of jumping the quad with artistic ideas". I guess he would do the same as a coach? I don't think there was a "conflict of interests" there, he was both artistic and ambitious to have quads. No?

Welcome, inyoureyes See you inside the Arena, you will see us for sure or you will see Stéphane If you want to have the best places in not numbered area, just be around Arena as sooner as possible. Sometimes people start to wait at the gates even at 18 or before... but there are nice coffes, shops and gardens there, so you can just have a walk around and you'll see when people start to make a queue

Thanks reut and Anna! That's what I thought but I wanted to be sure I wouldn't mind to queue longer, but I have to consider that my mother is with me too See you there!! I'll think about some new questions on the train ^^

Ok, the meeting is in less than one day so just a quick reminder, especially for people who will be at their first fan meeting - We'll meet inside the Arena before 12, as we'll need to sit and be ready before his arrival. So, please try to be there at least 10 minutes before. But above all please remember to take a look here tomorrow morning, as I will write here if Stéphane needs to change the time. - Remember that you won't be allowed to ask for autographs and personal pictures. Not because we're evil, but because there is not enough time and there are a lot of fans at home who are waiting to see the video to feel like they were with us, know about him, his programs, his choreographies... imagine how "happy" they would be to see just 20 minutes of him making autographs - Be respectful of him and other fans - Try not to take too many photos, we already have official photographers (and no flash) - Enjoy the moment! See you tomorrow!

Hi, just a quick post from Verona to tell you that the meeting happened and everything was fine We talked about many things, you'll hear in the video luckily this time there was no microphione check, but... suddenly a million visitors came to the Arena and were walking, talking, shouting a lot so I hope the audio will be good in the video (I could still hear him better then last year, so I think so.) Thanks to everyone who was here and to Stéphane of course! I'll try to upload a few pics as sooner as possible
