As you already saw via AS publications I was in Zurich this year. "Art on Ice" is always such an overwhelming experience for me, that it takes time afterwards to process all that was happening. Also, I was very busy (with "real life" things) - before and after this trip. So I'm still a bit trying to gather wits. I've published already on AS Twitter/FB most of good photos I had (I didn't have that many). And there will be a report with some quotes from the cast (no quotes from Stephane). In general I don't have much to say new about/from Stephane. Maybe only the explanation of the "libretto" of his Vivaldi program with Deniss. They start from the spring, which is Stephane's part (new choreo), and this is the time when everything awakens, energies, creativity, inspiration. And then Deniss comes and Stephane passes these energies and this inspiration to him. And then these feelings kind of grow and spread more, to other boys too. And then the final part in Stephane again ("Zebra" step sequence) and winter and he closes the circle of the year. Something like that. P.S. Don't miss amazing photos on photoya.de: photoya.de/galleries/art-on-ice-2017/P.P.S. Thank you, reut, especially for "the libretto" of Vivaldi. I enjoyed the new version of the program because it's much changed and the music of Max Richter is quite different and new (although it's hard to call it Vivaldi, it sounds more like a movie score inspired by the original), I love the spring part and the final winter which they ended with the old step sequence. I know, it can probably be boring that Stephane skated already Four Seasons many times (more than any other program, I think), but I don't mind, since it's always a bit different, it's interesting to see how he changes and, hopefully, he would do it in ten years with some new ideas and expressions. And brand new programs too, of course. I wonder what they will use for Ice legends, with the World championships around ther's not a lot of time for preparations. Looking forward to the report. Hi all, Thank you so much for sharing beautiful pic’s and videos. This time I saw some shows in Zurich and one show in Davos. I knew Stephane has been very, very busy. Therefore, I kept telling to myself “don’t expect too much” before arrival. However, both of Stephane’s programs were much more than I expected. Also I was amazed to see him land quad at almost every show. I am so sorry I cannot share any of on-ice pic and video. I really love just watching the show through my own eyes without being disturbed by some other things. Instead, I can share some off-ice videos of After Show Party on Feb 4 (Sat). These are not with good quality as I wasn’t ready at all. Everything in the video was so sudden and unexpected because I thought he retired from singing at the party. Very happy to see him back on the stage this year. Dancing youtu.be/LmAuo7gy5bwSinging youtu.be/xJV7oAAy9nwAnd his student’s solo dancing youtu.be/87X-wVNG2Xs
