Sorry to keep you waiting. A video of Stéphane's fan meeting held in Kobe with transcripts of the scene and the remaining photos will be released. Could you please use this transcript to translate into Russian, Chinese, Korean, etc. your words.
We could hold this fan meeting in a team.
All the members worked hard to hold this fan meeting, including the members who created the transcription, the members who were in charge of the camera, and the members who helped in the construction.
We would like to continue to collaborate with everyone and hold a fan meeting that can be released!
I will watch it carefully a bit later, I'm still at work. But I'm very grateful that you asked about shows in Europe. (And I'm very upset by his answer, to tell the truth...)
Thank you very much for sharing, slfm !!! WOW! What a huge work you have done transcribing the whole meeting, organising (I think), photos and everything!!
I'm glad you included a question about Stéphane's new 'Schubert' program. It's impressive to read he had time to prepare properly only once he arrived in Japan, and yet he managed to have such a complex and precise piece of art ready in time. Wow!
So, only one show left in Europe for now (MOI) ... besides a small one again in Champéry, what is nice
I'm going to read your - also very precise - transcript again, and re-watch the video with great pleasure . Thank you once again!
Thank you for waiting. I will publish the other video taken at Stéphane's fan meeting in Kobe. We would like to hold his fan meeting once a year, if possible!
Thank you very much, slfm, and all the team who worked on the organization, translation, preparation of this meeting, of the presents and questions. It was so well organized and lovely. I really enjoyed watching it. Thank you for asking important questions, from me personally thank you for asking questions on behalf of European fans. (I'm not satisfied with his answer, "opportunities will come" - well, they won't, all those opportunities for the shows in Europe he already deleted from his list; "if I have many, many, many, many shows I won't have time for my show" - well, he still has "many, many, many, many" shows, just not in Europe; but, well, it's not that I can do anything about it, so at least, thanks to your question I know that my worries, the tendency that I noticed long ago is indeed real).
Of course, we see this from a different point of view than he sees it. And he probably also doesn't really "differentiate" his shows, doesn't see how "unbalanced" his schedule is, as long as he has his public, he definitely doesn't care where this public is and who brings him Swiss flags, right? He also mentioned memories and videos, I'm not sure he is really aware how different it is for his audience to see a video or see him performing live (although probably he should, he is a fan too, he would go to London to see his favourite performer). I'm not sure he is really aware how much we enjoy watching him skating, even during the warm up, even just gliding without jumps.
Thank you for asking about the end of his skating career. He says there is no fear, and this is great. For him. I loved to see this peace in him when he talks about it, and this happiness that his body allows him to continue. But for me personally, I'm terrified that I have one option in a year and how many more years left - 2? 3? - to see him skating.
There is also one more thing I'm afraid of, but I really hope he won't do this to us. I hope unlike his un-announcement about "Art on Ice" (although he knew about it for a year!), he will at least hint to us when he feels he wants to finish. Because I want to be there to say goodbye. And I really hope I won't need to go to Japan for that...
--- About the organization of the meeting, once again, way to go, such a huge work and such great organization. I learned it from my own experience, that he feels more comfortable and relaxed when things are well organized. And this is great that you had one present from the whole group, this is what he always asks to do (although I guess now he will get A LOT of "medium" size clothes in all shades of red and a lot of "Shiseido" products ). One thing only, but, please, don't see this as a critique, only as suggestion (which I don't even know, maybe not possible for the meetings in Japan) - I think the most precious in these meetings with him is that when a person asks a question he answers directly to that person, gives his attention, his eye contact to a specific person. And this becomes more personal, both for him and for a fan. For the meetings in Russia we even tried to encourage people who don't know English to ask a question in Russian which will be translated to him, but he will answer to that person. I don't know, this is at least what I find the most touching, an opportunity for a fan to get this personal attention, this "time with". But maybe fans in Japan are more shy or maybe it is somehow different for Japanese culture...
