Stéphane skated last night. It was cold and foggy (including in the rink which is opened on the sides) and not so fun to get to Villars because of the snow (it's all the way up in the mountains), but the exhibition was nice - I mean, after all there were Stéphane, Albena & Maxim and Julia Sebestyen! He first skated his SP with a quad (the reception wasn't totally clean though) - and with his new costume please! It's a very "typical Stéphane" costume, looks quite like last year SP's - mostly black with a yellow and green collar. Very classy! (nope, sorry, no picture) And in the second part, he didn't feel like doing his Björk program so he skated to Tosca sung by Florent Pagny (I wondered if he had taken that piece in honor of Albena & Maxim, but apparently he didn't know that Navka & Kostomarov were skating to that). He "improvised", did the beginning and step sequence of his LP, a couple of jumps, a couple of spins, a spread eagle and that was basically it! The audience loved it though, of course - he's quite impressive and those spins can get anyone wild! ;D Apart from that, burglars broke into his flat on Wednesday , while he was at practice, and they took... lots of his (expensive) clothes! And CDs, and a watch, but thank God they didn't touch anything skating-related.

And by the way, since it's not worth a thread in the main MB, Julia skated to "Singing in the rain" (with an umbrella) and "I am what I am" by Gloria Gaynor. Albena and Maxim skated a new program to "La vie en rose" (the theme of the exhibition was "Paris"), they had put the program together in 45 minutes on Friday! It was mostly bits of other programs, but it looked good and they said they might also do that in Bolzano tomorrow because the audience enjoyed it! (how could you not enjoy? ) And in the 2nd part they skated their exhibition program from last year (with the white costumes).

They said they will probably have a new exhibition in Torino. Now whether they will use "La vie en rose" or not, I have no clue...
