I'm bored...
Schedule of the whole competition (since the site is only in French):
Friday, Dec. 8 12.00-12.50 Compulsory Dance ("Cadets", Junior and Senior) 13.05-15.45 Short Program Ladies (Senior) 16.00-16.15 Short Program of our one and only precious Pair (Junior) 16.15-17.15 Short Program Men (Senior) 17.30-18.05 Original Dance (Junior and Senior)
Saturday, Dec. 9 12.00-12.55 Free Dance ("Cadets", Junior and Senior) 13.10-16.10 Free Program Ladies (Senior) 16.25-16.40 Free Program of our only and only precious Pair (Junior) 16.40-17.50 Free Program Men (Senior) 18.00-18.35 Medal Ceremonies (Dance, Pair!!, Ladies, Men)
It happened in the past that enough skaters didn't show up for the organizers to remove one group (Ladies I think), so the schedule was changed "at the last minute". I guess the schedule will only be confirmed on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Thank you very much Celine!!!!! And good luck Steph!!! Does anybody if it will be broadcasted? I don't think so. At the last years they broadcasted only a little report from the swiss nationals, not the hole compitition. The old reports could be found in my streamvidprojects. HIH

Is anyone going to swiss nationals?
I'm considering it (if i don't have year 10 coursework to mark), but i don't know Geneva very well (i went once when i was 7).
Are the hotels expensive?

Oh...i´m afraid there is no big chance to find a Hotel/or room which is not so expensive...i´m searching since Monday and in Genf there is nothing...every hostel and youth hotel is already booked out ...you have to search aound this area...there is a youth hotel in Lausanne but even this one is not cheap! good luck kayin BTW..if you don´t find something you can join me and my friend under the bridge!(If we haven´t good luck too)

You are lucky, there are several bridges in Geneva that look nice Don't try to absolutely get something right next to the icerink, there are enough public transports in the city and the area around it for you to arrive early and to leave late

I still haven't found anything yet, but I've got a friend ( my dance teatcher! ) that maybe could lend me her little flat in the nearby in a village called "Vezenaz": i saw we can get there by bus, it's +/- 10mn every 20mn, and every hour at night, from one of the main bus station ( "Rive")(**line E & G) So if we haven't found anything till next week, she'll certainly OK for that ( I'd prefer to be in Geneva, b ut it seems now quite impossible...Otherwise i've got very good friends between Annecy (France)and Geneva that work in geneva, but not everyday and sometime by night ( in an hospital) so, they also maybe could recieve us ( me and my daughter )but it's +/- 40 km far and the train go to Annecy, not exactly where they live, so, I'll see with them... : if you still can't find nothing, I'll ask them for you too In a few days I'll be able to tell you that exactly! bye J. bus lines : www.tpg.ch/Transport Public Genevois ** www.tpg.ch/Cartographie/plans/Mai2006/planreseau.pdfplanreseau.pdf (Objet application/pdf) Welcome back myloum!!! So, Paris?... I didn't see you on TV

But I saw myself... Once with a big smile after Brian's long program, and at least once sitting next to Brian Joubert during the ladies' shorts (and Jamal was on the other side but I didn't see him on the screen). The week-end was just fantastic, the best one for such a long time With my 4 favourite French skaters on the podiums, it couldn't get bad. Except that I am very sad for Jamal, who did not deserve to be 11th. His program may not have been technically difficult, but he skated much better than Patrick Chan for example (who stole the music and parts of the 4 seasons choreography, with not much success)...
