thank you girls for finding so many articles about Stéphane and Worlds. I use the google translation and tha¨nk you so much leana for translations too It will be really big fight but like Stéphane said maybe for Sarah it will be harder to fight. Im so sad about the last performing of flamenco, I like this program so much, it is perfect and my fav, but im curious about new prog, because it will be really unique Now only wish Stéphane GOOD LUCK, interviews with him sound quite good, optimistic and like in one Shayne Ward's song is: "Nothing's impossible nothing's unreachable.... "

He was Stéphane's coach during that brief period in '04-'05 when Stéphane split with Mr. Grütter. I think he used to be a pairs skater and was involved with the skating club in Lausanne, where Stéphane trained. That's how they met, right? I think he stayed on in some sort of advisor/local coach capacity for a bit even after Stéphane reunited with Grütter before finally parting ways. This is all from recollection, so someone might want to correct me... btw, what's their relationship like these days?

Yes, pia, it's an interesting article from TV8, many thanks, incognito www.tv8.ch/index.cfm?id=1739And it's different from the rest of yesterday! Well, the name of the author, Laurent Favre, speaks for itself. I like his way of writing things, you may disagree with what he says at times, but I like his deep psychological analyses The translation is ready for you, you can find it below in a regular doc format. It's long and given the policy of this board, I put it elsewhere. You'll need to download it: www.esnips.com/doc/3733d272-8a43-45c5-a16b-546c8ed6029e/He_can_do_it[1]

Thank you so much leana for amazing work! It's a serious article but some thoughts there, I hope, aren't necessarily exactly so. For example what author says about lower marks, what were given to Stephane in EC. Yes they were lower there, but in GPFinal they were quite high. I think it's not sign, that he will be undermarked, it just depend on competition. Maybe his status as world champion is a bit changed, but not so much. Of course, he has all this dangers, when he don't prove his superiority (or at last stability). Of course, he hadn't been so consistent winner like Yagudin or Pluschenko before him. But he's different, he has different priorities. Cedric Monod says: "Last year in Tokyo Stéphane had been more convincing" OK, he's 'patineur du printemps". And in an other place he says: "Stéphane is not the one who must progress, he is the one who must be expressive of what he is capable of." Agree very much. Monod also says (like we all noticed), that Stephane can change very fast: after some days be better in shape, make better jumps. Anyway - hope the best for him and he stays always the most interesting skater. Somehow I'm sure, that he's fortunate in everything he does.

Ah, pia, take it easy, Laurent Favre likes to dig (and it wasn't very deep this time) and present things so that it's interesting to read, interest comes first. Given this, he can't but present things from different angles, as there are few things either black or white. With this, major ideas of an article and/or its tone are always there, well observed. As is always with him, it'sl not so much what he writes, but how.
