Well I must be the odd one out, as it's been nominated for awards but I thought Closer was rubbish. I could make a better film myself. The script (who created that? A 15 year old boy in heat?) was garbage. I mean why say "make love" if you can use the F word? Get my drift? It was vulgar and there was no story that I could see, and what there was, was unlikely and unbelievable. Why would anyone stay with or even marry the man that Julia married in it? Eeeeewwwww, gross horrible man and he can't even act. I can't believe Law and Roberts took part in it. Definitely the worst film they've appeared in, IMO. The best bit was the end of the film. Phew, now I've got THAT off my chest, I feel a ton better.

Just came back from the cinema, watched with friends "Un Long Dimanche". Beautiful picture!! Audrey Tautou did amazing great. Ofcourse exactly the same style as Amelie, but it fitted here again. Some parts were shocking, like in the beginning. I wanne see the movie again ;D With all the names it was confusing, but had that also with Amelie (needed to watch it several time ) And SHOCK was that the guy in the movie were it is about, looked a lot like............... Brian Joubert ( I think it is the nose )

Yeps Mel that is the movie! ;D Wanne see it again, and yes that is the guy, Gaspard Ulliel but on that picture you don't really see it I think. It was more in the first and last scene's. I was like, what is Brian doing here? But Gaspard is much hansomer And very very adorable. Here is a picture with a little resemblance, but kind find a really good one, that you really see it good. www.ecrannoir.fr/feteducinema/img/act07.jpg

I missed Desperate Housewives last night so will see it on Sunday. I just read Secret Smile by Nicci French. It was a good thriller/suspense story. I'm reading her first novel now (a bit slow) and I can't even remember its title. A news series of "Life Begins" started on ITV last night. About a newly single woman aged 40 and her life, starring Caroline Quentin.

Bookwise, I've read the two Christopher Reeve books.
