There was the mistake of the quad jump, but thinks that it was a very good performance. I want him to do his best with this condition tomorrow. Tomas, good luck!!!

Yes, he fell, but he's not yet in form, is he? Yet, he is on the uprise, as he's got his personal best this season, if I'm not mistaken. I hope he'll be 100% ready at the Europeans. Anyway, I liked his skating today, and I'm looking forward to his LP tomorrow.

He does say that these GP's are not his main goal, they are euros and worlds (darn the pressure he puts on himself ) The way I see it, doing well in the GPs will help him later in the season... because making the GPF will boost his confidence and competing against a top field of male skaters will test him psychologically. But I guess it's also important to not burn out physically with too many competitions, so no matter what happens there is a bright side. I hope he can hold on to second place... needs to watch out especially for Alban. Now that I think about yesterday's performance, going for the jumps and falling is way better than popping... at least under CoP.

I think he'd also watch out for Jeremy Abott, in his past GP his jumps were really good and secure and the first 2 jumping passes yesterday were too. If he skates that well like he did in China I can see him overtake Tomas

I am assuming a bit that Jeremy's shaken from his mistakes yesterday... I get the feeling from him that when things start to go wrong, it gets into his head. He could totally surprise me, but my prediction is that he'll just survive the LP, and possibly move up a spot or two.

Okay, I was wrong. Tomas needs 144.28 to stay ahead of Abbott. Gooo Tomas! Edit: Whee, he did it! Only one popped pass and a couple step outs. BEAUTIFUL quad! Edit2: And wins the LP.
