Reut asked in the Gala 2007/2008: BTW, I wonder, why are we still in "Galas 2007/2008" when 2009(!) is already not so far from us. I wonder too . As Stéphane is no longer skating at competition but instead in quite some more shows then the years before, I presume we might have quite some more informations, pics, articles, impressions about Galas with Stéphane in the future then in the past. Given to this I like to start with two different threads for 2009 galas/performance at the same time: one thread for Galas: one for "Gala 2009 - Europe" and one for "Gala 2009 - Asia/Japan". I wait with openeing a thread "Gala 2009 - America" for the moment, as there is no Gala announced for America yet (at least I don't know about). But as soon as there will be a cast with Stéphane in America, a thread can be opened too.

Thank you for the last information about the shows. I'm so happy I will see Stephane in his skates again. The article says Brian Joubert will be there as a presenter but he won't skate because of his injury so Stephane must be kind of replacing Brian. Sorry for him, looks like the next bad season. They enumerate all Brian's titles and then say there will be Stephane Lambiel "the Swiss from Martigny". I know it's French press, but still... Brian might not be my favorite, but I would never call him "the Frenchman from Poitiers". Even Valentina Marchei is "the Italian vice-champion".

Well, you know, Steph doesn't need presentation - let's think it this way.

Anyway - good recoverement for Brian. Reut - very good angel of view for this issue !!

Thanks joaninha for the links! Interesting AXA Winterthur mentioned in their news also an event in Basel. Till yet nothing is announced for Basel - but it's a nice hint. So I'm already looking forward to have an event in Basel again ...

Yes, this is why they missed French Nationals. I hoped that she is better already. Apparently it's not so.

I read a short report from the French gala on Brian's forum that says Stephane skated Un Giorno Per Noi with some small technical problems. Brian was commenting for the French TV and hopefully we can see it. I hoped to see new programs, especially now when there are so few opportunities to see him skate but whatever he skates we'll make me pleased. Thank you for all posts. Merry Christmas to everybody and a lot of Stephane's exhibitions in New Year.
