The only thought which comforts me: well, but he will never be able to write software products. Reut you are a coder? If so, there should be someone to film when you chat with him next time- pure logicality meets pure intuition... if you know what I mean XDDD

But actually Stephane is very smart and logical person. You can be emotional and logical together. I'm such a person, for example. It's more about the way you think, in Russian they even have expression "physicists or lyrists". I think we both are "physicists", 'cause his answers were always very logical and rational. I could easily follow his thoughts and continue the conversation (sometimes by not giving him to finish the sentence even... ). And you're right, to "lyrists" it's rather hard for me to talk usually, I get tired very quickly of non-logical talks when next sentence doesn't have any logical connection to the previous one. Or when person gets very non-logical conclusions, by twisting things in a very weird way.

haha, I understand you. It makes me a bit depressed when I see how perfect he is on the ice and understand that I never in my life will be even a bit close to that. The only thought which comforts me: well, but he will never be able to write software products. Oooh reut You comfort me a little .I am at work right now and doing what I do, (geodetic engineering), takes a lot of AutoCad ,C#,ProEngineer and so,and so...you know how overwhelmed and difficult it can be Steph could maybe learn how to do that,in many, many years to come ,but you and me to skate like him ???I agree with you,not in this life As for me I`m happy when I skate, it`s really basic skating but I enjoy it , I would like to compete him in skiing though Anyway to skate with him for only, like 15min, that would be like: finally my dream come true For now I wont him to enjoy in LA, but also I wont him to WRITE!!! I`m getting very impatient

monika7, I think you were a bit confused by time changes: LA is actually 10/9/8 hours back in time. I know. I am the wrong day. I thought it is only Monday! And it was Tuesday! I am crazy about ....

To skate like him I won't be able to learn in my life. Kinda depressing, isn't it? To know about things you never will be able to achieve... And his new entry in journal is really cute. It's not good that he is writing each two days. Because I may get used to it.

It's not good that he is writing each two days. Because I may get used to it. Hehehe, me too! But at the moment there are lot of exciting things going on being at Worlds. Don't know how it will be in the summer when there are no comps and hardly any shows. Ok, don't think about that now.

We all have things that we'd love to be able to do and won't achieve in this lifetime. So many skills out there, so little time. I loved Stéphane's reference to his "figure skating family." That was sweet.

Focus on what you can do, rather than what you can't, Reut. We all have things that we'd love to be able to do and won't achieve in this lifetime. So many skills out there, so little time. Kinda depressing? , really? - I think it's a very good thing that not everybody has the same talents! I'm imaging how it might be, if everybody would be able to achieve everything in his life: -... A World full of only very proud people because they are convinced there are the best and given to this allmighty and independent in every situations of live ? - Not really a nice perspective for me, besides that I think that's just not possible in this World we live actually in ;D. And I have to fear to be forced to live on an own planet . But then, what a lonely World, even if I might have internet connections with other planets . I'm even sure that wouldn't satisfy my heart and all my desires in it either? What a desperate prespective for me as I wonder where values like gratitude, joy etc. etc - and specially love might be found under those circumstances! Finished with philosophical and fictional thoughts and back to reality Focus on what you can do, rather than what you can't. We all have things that we'd love to be able to do and won't achieve in this lifetime. So many skills out there, so little time. Well said IMHO. wicked -
