Thank you Reut. Very interesting articles. So for now they see Stéphane only in 7th place at Olys and Evgeny on top of the podium again. Well future competitions will tell how realistic this is. Hope Stéphane can prove them all wrong.

Thanks Natalia for translating this interesting interview . Appreciated it very much! From 26.08.2009 a big interview with Victor Pertenko on Ukranian federation offsite. www.ufsf.org.ua/ru/new.php?116 Here it is translation (be mercy about my English plz) only about Stéphane - You worked with Stéphane Lambiel, who announced his comeback in coming season What do you think about his decision?- I'm glad he will be back. I'd talked to him before he made this decision and announced it. I insisted on his comeback and explained to him why he just had to do it. To my satisfaction he took my advice and he is returning to amateur competitions. He is a great personality in figure skating and his comeback is going to rise level of competitions and public interese to figure skating. I'm waiting impatiently for the coming season which promises to be very interesting! - How about Stéphane's health?- I cannot say it is OK 100%. He needs painkillers but as a sportsman he manages his pains. He also have had 6 monhts to rest and rehab which was enough. Last time I saw him on show in Japan in June he looked quite confident in his skating and he was prepared for quad on 60-70%. - Will you be working with Stéphane again?- He made decision to stay and train in Switzerland. He has some medical treatment there as well so we don't have any plans for cooperation so far. If Lambiel needs my help he cam make a call any time. He knows that. I think Lambiel is a great sportsman. I saw his programms that we prepared just before he retired and they looked great. I think he surprises all the figure skating fans. Thanks everybody else for finding and sharing articles in the past few weeks! - Liked also the link to the comback analysis reut posted to.

Thanks, Nathalia for the translation. Glad to know that Petrenko is supportive for Stéphane. Reut, thanks for the article. 7th place? Hmmm I don't know who is this examiner nor how reliable he is, but I'm okay since we have already a certain Monfort who predicted Stéphane's probable winning over Plushenko ;D Seriously, I hope Stéphane returns to good form and show what he is capable of. Allez, Stéphane!

3A is making a huge difference if failed in SP. Then, a roll back to place #7-10 is kind of guaranteed. This year the competitive level will be very high, I would not be surprised if the results were very-very close. The 7th place has obviously been "predicted" based on what Stephane has been showing for the past year and a half -couple of years (not much, it's true). Yet, it's not a prophesy, it's no more than a statement of we we may face if no break-through achievements are in place. I'd be very much surprised if Stephane didn't have a surprise stuck in his pocket for us all.

3A is making a huge difference if failed in SP. Agree, but luckily 3A is not everything, skating is a rather unpredictable thing, which can be influenced by such "not well defined" parameters as guts, luck, courage. And other competitors' performances as well (though, of course, we all want Stephane to be the best absolutely and not relatively . More than that, sometimes he does land it.

Cute, thanks, pia. About the event Stephane mentioned in his journal, it's written on their site: "Dès la mi-octobre, le film et les photos de la soirée de soutien du 29.08.09 pourront être commandés via le site internet de la LVCC." "From the middle of October film and pictures of the evening of 29.08.09 can be ordered on the site of LVCC" www.lvcc.ch/50eme.php

I have some idea. I wonder what you think about it. Twitter is getting more and more popular. And useful too. Me personally, I use it a lot and follow quite a lot of different twitters in my Google Reader: it provides an easy and quick update in different topics I'm interested in. What if we create some kind of "Lambiel updates" twitter, something like a "mirror" of this forum, but without discussions, links only. I think it'll provide and expose more info about Stephane to those who don't follow this forum but might be interested to be updated about his news. I may create an account and share the password here ("coccinelle" for example), so that everybody will be able to update it with new tweets. What do you think?
