No idea what this event is about, but maybe someone will be around in those dates: www.facebook.com/events/522191591314486/Looks like Stephane will be there from 17:30 till 20:00, three days in a row, September 8-10. Maybe it's more clear if you read this: www.commune-de-montreux.ch/agenda/cal/event/tx_cal_phpicalendar/2016/09/07/energy_challenge_2016.htmlObviously it's a kind of roadshow touring trough nine swiss cities with the aim to sensitize a larger population in a playful way on themes like renewable energies and how to economize energy. People can participate and produce energy (for example by biking). The towns are competing against each other (winner is the one who produces most energy) with the support of some 'ambassadors', like Stephane for Montreux. So we can expect Stéphane biking hard (for some minutes) in order to produce as much energy as possible. (At least that's what other 'promi's' did in other cities, I read).

I hope he won't need to bike hard for two and a half hours!

I don't think so. I read that a football player from swiss national team biked for 3 min 38 seconds to produce enough energy to be able to watch a 90 minutes football game on a TV-Box. Means: if Stéphane bikes to watch a 4.30min FS he won't need to overwork too much .

(But what if he has to produce enough energy to watch the whole segment from Worlds, for example?)

Ok .... ! (If I knew he had to bike for a whole segment from worlds, then, I guess, I might start to consider whether to travel to Montreux to see this ).

Thank you, taipeifollowers. I am sure I have seen this one or two years ago already. Surprisingly they upload it now on youtube. Actually you do not miss much if you do not understand. Questions like what he likes more, dog or cat (of course cat - Wonka), love or money (clear he answers love) . The rest ... just nothing of any interest.

Yeah, it looked familiar to me too. Because he was asked about circus I think it was when he was in "Das Zelt" maybe?

My interview with Deniss Vasiļjevs. Nothing new as we did it back in Geneva during "Ice Legends", I just added there updates we all already know. Still some nice words about Stephane, maybe you'd like to read them. absoluteskating.com/interviews/2016vasiljevs.html

Thank you, Reut, for the lovely interview/report about Deniss! I'm really curious to learn how he will develop in the years to come. And I hope he will not feel too lonely in Champéry during the long autumn and winter months ahead. There's not too much activities there for a youngster like him, I'd think. Even though Stéphane and his team certainly will take good care of him.
