Does anyone on the board get IFS (International Figure Skating) Magazine? My August copy just arrived today and I was pleased to see a picture of Sinead and John. If my memory is serving me correctly it was a picture of the OD. I'll check for sure later. I think the title of the 1/3 pg article was Sibling Success (or something like that). Then, John was also pictured later in the magazine in the off-ice pictures with someone and I'm TOTALLY blanking...I'll have to look that up as well. I would now but the magazine isn't on me! I still have to scan the last pic from BOI but I can scan these as well.

I have to actually turn on the other computer to do it and I haven't had the chance, but I'll try to tomorrow.

The internet was not cooperating well enough to put these up last night so I got them up today! August 2005 International Figure Skating img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/sunnyskate/Sinead%20and%20John/johncarolinaifs.jpgimg.photobucket.com/albums/v221/sunnyskate/Sinead%20and%20John/SJifs.jpgAnd since I totally cut off the rest of the article, here's the rest of it: "John Kerr said the duo's preparation for Worlds was much better than for Europeans. "We were really confident going into the event," he said. "We were able to enjoy it much more. I was really happy with the way we skated in Moscow. We were hoping to be in the top 1- but that is our goal for next season." Both say they do not regard the other as a sibling when they skate. "When Sinead and I are training and performing together I regard her as my skating partner and not my sister," John Kerr said. "People have said that we should not do certain moves because they are too sexy or too intimate for a brother-and-sister team but we disagree." The Kerrs cite Isabelle and Paul Duchesnay as the people they look up ot the most for the innovation and daring the French team brought to the sport. "They were the main people to influence us early in our career," Sinead Kerr explained. "They were the only ice dancers we watched as youngsters." John Kerr said, "For me, it is a real privilege to be skating alongisde Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski as I have so much respect for them." This team plans to continue skating until the Olympic Games in 2010. "Who would want to miss out on an Olympics in CAnada, where the fans are so passionate about their skating," John Kerr said."
