Wow, it must be like having your feet off the ground permanently! Hope he does get to rest. And eat pineapples.

If he's going to be at the Portland show (I'll be near there during that time), I'll have to go! I'd definitely want to see him skate in person...
Ooh.

We don´t have sunny islands and beaches in the Czech Republic,... So probably it is not his destination... ;D

Pressure or not, back to the title of the thread with some more news. Stéphane is flying to the US tomorrow and will join the Champions on Ice tour for a dozen shows, starting (I guess) with the show in Chicago on Sunday. He will skip the last 3 shows of the tour in order to perform at Ice Chips in Boston on April 30-May 1st. So no rest, not yet, but he'll take 2 weeks of REAL holidays right after he's finished touring. The news will be on the site later today, they still need to be translated. The schedule is already updated though. thanks for the news Celine. It must be nice for Stephane to be able to do these shows this year, even though its a bit crowded...(but yeah what do you expect after becoming wolrd champion?) I hope he will have lots of fun doing them!

I'm so excited that Stephane is coming to Boston I haven't had a chance to see him skate in person since 2003 Worlds, and I'm planning on attending at least one of the Ice Chips shows ... can't wait Jayne

Great!! I'm happy that Stéphane finally gets a chance to perform for the US audience, and seeing reactions on some message boards, it seems like people are happy to finally get a chance to see him! I hope you'll have fun and you'll drop by again to give us a little report!!
