Stéphane spent 10 days in Portugal with his family, some friends and... journalists. He didn't get to rest much and came back to Switzerland still exhausted by all that's been happening since that famous March 17. He arrived in Geneva on Tuesday afternoon and dropped by at the exhibition of the CPG (Club des Patineurs de Genève) where he did a little improvisation on "Winter" of Vivaldi's 4 Seasons - long story as to why this music, it's not a new program or anything, he just "had to" skate to that there. Things are apparently still crazy for him and he hardly has a minute to breathe. I actually still haven't talked to him since Moscow, there're always way too many people trying to get to him - I don't know how he can handle that. He should be leaving Switzerland again soon though... And one more things for the Swissies: there're another 8 pages or so about Stéphane's "holidays" in Portugal in yesterday's "L'Illustré".

Thanks for the news Celine Bad luck that he couldn't have the time to get some air, and to recover physically and mentally. Hope he will get soon some time to relax and really have some peace, because there is a big new and exciting season waiting for him

we mustn´t put too much pressure on the guy about an Olympic medal I know he can, but to keep repeating it for a year in advance...well, imagine what the stress and expectations must be for him!! so many people now want him to do miracles...he can, I know he can , but let´s not pressure him too much... and he needs his rest, so please, people, LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK!!! - all journalists etc.

I join your statement... LEAVE HIM ALONE AND LET HIM REST!!! (of course I will still love him even when he doens't get any medal next year )

Pressure or not, back to the title of the thread with some more news. Stéphane is flying to the US tomorrow and will join the Champions on Ice tour for a dozen shows, starting (I guess) with the show in Chicago on Sunday. He will skip the last 3 shows of the tour in order to perform at Ice Chips in Boston on April 30-May 1st. So no rest, not yet, but he'll take 2 weeks of REAL holidays right after he's finished touring. The news will be on the site later today, they still need to be translated. The schedule is already updated though.
