Verner amazed people with jumpsCompetition, where Tomas Verner jumps perfect quadruple toeloop for the first time is postponed for the present. But other jumps, that he did at the Czech Nationals in Ceské Budejovice were beautiful. Old-new czech champion showed a quad toeloop during the warmup. He did it confidently and beautifully. The LP was unfortunately without the expected jump. "I apologize to all fans that I didn't jump it," he told modestly. "our club did for the organization of the championship very much." That's why he wanted the premiere to be at home. "The rhythm of the LP was quite good." Tomas told. "But in my head everything wasn't alright." He explained, that he has thought about it too much. "At some sports it is a nuisance." In his Lp there are six triple jumps, Salchow went wrong. But the combination if two triple jumps, lutz and toeloop, were another highlight of Verner's program. "Tomas really wanted it and he went for the jump with unnecessarily big effort." explained his coach Vlasta Koprivova his failure with toeloop. "Otherwise the program was how we planned it." Tomas skated with a big attention of small girls and ladies as well. ( ) "The crowd that supported me was great." he said "I'm glad that any faux pas happened to me here." Only audience could be larger. "I was expecting bigger participation after the medial campaign the organozators prepared." he said ( what campaign?!?) "I was hoping for more spectators. But in comparision to other championships the crowd was bigger."

Someone did. They showed LPs of the winners and part of few others. Most space was of course dedicated to Tomas as to the only czech Olympic participant. Little interview with him, talking about euros and olympics ETA I tried to find if they don't have the program on the internet, but without success...

I really don't remeber it all... something about looking forward to the competitions and about the nats and the quad, that he enjoyed the comp but was trying to skate his best to ensure that he will be at euros
