Does anybody of you know what show is going to be held in Italy in August??? You can find info about 'Skating Champions Italian Tour' here. This is a tour which has been taking place in northern Italy (mostly Alps' resorts) for the past few years during the summer. It includes 14 stops this yr and cast is as follows: ARTISTI PRINCIPALI / SPECIAL GUEST PHILIPPE CANDELORO Pluri-campione francese, due volte medaglia olimpica LEONOVA & KVALKHO Pluri-campioni mondiali professionisti THE ACROBATS Campioni del mondo di acrobating skating CHAIT & SAKHNOVSKI Medaglia di bronzo Campionati Mondiali 2002 JULIA LAUTOWA Pluri-campionessa austriaca VAKHTANG MOURVANIDZE Pluri-campione georgiano ROXANA LUCA Pluri-campionessa rumena MOSCOW THEATRE ON ICE AURELI & VATURI Vice-campioni italiani di danza su ghiaccio PARTECIPAZIONI STRAORDINARIE: CAROLINA KOSTNER (solo spettacolo del 18 Agosto) Medaglia di bronzo Mondiali 2005 Carolina is skating only at Selva di Val Gardena stop (a village which is really close to her home). About Karel, I know he attended the show in the past but dunno about this year... No idea about Fede&Massi, they too skated in this tour in the past... Anyway, usually Italian top skaters only attend 1 or 2 stops of the tour cause august is a month of intensive off-season training.

I'd love to go to Selva show but I guess I won't make it... it's mid-august so it might be I'll be on holiday and if not, the place is pretty far from me and not so easy to reach so I'd have to stay overnight for sure...

I think it's about 450km far from me. It's not that far but connections aren't too good. I'd need to take 3 trains + a bus to get there...

(our town, the closest to the west border, and another town - closest to the east border) and it is a whole day to get there! so i can imagine! and sure, that Caro can skate only in one show?

Air distance it would be only 300 kms but as I say connections aren't too good so 450kms is approx the distance you have to cover to get there by train + bus. Yes, unfortunately Caro is skating only in that show
