Isabelle and Olivier had to withdraw from the French Masters yesteday due to an abdominal muscle train. More news soon to come. Meantime we made an update to the site that you might find intresting and bellow is the translation of a French article announcing their withdrawl:
Masters in Reims – Delobel and Schoenfelder withdraw
Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder, who were in the lead at Masters of Figure Skating in Reims after the compulsory dances, withdrew from the competition because Isabelle Delobel has suffered a strain of an abdominal muscle on Friday. “It’s not serious, but it’s better to stop here.” she stated. The dance couple didn’t participate to the original dance held in the evening. Original from Lyon, aiming to obtain the European title in their home town in January, and a gold medal at Winter Olympics this winter in Turin, Italy, they don’t want to risk compromise the rest of their season.
