OD: a lot of negatives on GOE on their spin(i understand that; for "traveling)
a level 3 on twizzles?
FD: a level one on perfect twizzles except the stumble from olivier?!
a level 2???!!! on their serpentine lift?!
i don't know whats goin on with judging...harsher markdowns on others to keep the russians on the podium? the kerrs got higher levels than them?(no offense)

i cant believe the extremely harsh markdowns on basic flaws...is there even a flaw on their serp lift?
level 2?!
speechless and annoyed...this ruin my day...or made it worse

Please continue!!  www.isufs.org/results/gprus06/CAT004RS.HTMFinal Results: There's a report by Maria in Basic Skating, and apparantly Isa & Oli were a little nervous and didn't skate their FD aswell as in Practice.  However, Congrats to them on winning the Bronze Medal! You can only do your best, and where the Judges place you is out of your hands. [glow=red,2,300]ALL THE BEST TO ISA AND OLI[/glow] so weird looking at isa/oli at 3rd compared to "them"... |

they got a level four on their cheesy curve lift the one they got a level 3 before: the one right after their spin....judges need help

I wasn't particularly impressed by any team (I posted my Ice Dance revies in the CoR thread) but IMHO Isabelle/Olivier have an overall better technique. - FD: Twizzles were not excellent. Olivier had a serious mistake (IIRC he stepped out after the 1st twizzle in the second series) thus the twizzle was called only Lv1. It's another point that -2 and -1 GOE might be excessive in this case. I don't recall anything wrong with the lift. I don't think DomShabs were held up in any way. They were punished for their OD mistake and they were so clearly the best in the FD. ETA re: Lv2 lift. I guess I recall one of the lifts was not held for 3 secs. Can't remeber which one, tho. |
