It is when you see skaters with less talent than you get the medals...again!

On the other hand, it can be a glorious sport, like when Isa & Oli take the ice.

Loved their new exhib at Worlds, saw it yesterday, was fab.

i am going to be in paris from april 6-13...
del/sch is on tour around france...maybe they'll be on TV
....and they will be in pari the 14th.....i might jus get a chance to see them.....

Sorry to go back to this unpleasant "fragment of a topic" but have you guys ever wondered what keeps these skaters going? Because after an unfair scoring and "defeat" by skaters that did less well, they must be making more or less this kind of thinking too... or maybe not... I can't really imagine what goes on inside their heads exactly, but I suppose their disappointment doesn't go far enough to make them wanna quit or something -- hopefully... And this must be more than a habit or addiction, what makes them wanna keep going.

3/25/07) - The International Skating Union (ISU) reaffirmed to U.S. Figure Skating that it has no intention of moving the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships from Los Angeles, Calif. U.S. Figure Skating President Ron Hershberger and Executive Director David Raith met with ISU President Ottavio Cinquanta, who reassured U.S. Figure Skating that the ISU looks forward to the event being held in Los Angeles.

"The allotment of the championships to be held in Los Angeles demonstrates the acknowledgement by the ISU of the great contribution by the U.S. skaters and movement to the development of the sport of figure skating," the ISU said in a statement.

Far too much political and financial power over there!
