same great emotion in the opening
solid rotational lift
little fumble on the transition with isabelle's leg up
same stupid weak spin! only change was isabelle's leg potion and his sit position going up.
faster circular step, very nice
olivier! again on those twizzles! Focus!
same rotational lift
a little meh on the no touch footwork
great serpentine combo lift - they need to hold their positions longer for that level 4
final funky lift....as the american commentator pointed on in NHK, her skirt was under his blade...so scary...but beautiful...
overall less emotion from NHK but still good!

Yes, I thought the same thing when watching the video of their FD from Japan and also now from French Nationals... I don't think this lift is a good idea, he easily happens to skate over her skirt and this can get really ugly (and embarrassing, too), I could imagine. The fact that it went well up to now doesn't prove that it will go well in the more important competitions to come!
I, at least, would reconsider that lift...

And as for the spin, I noticed the change, but in the slo-mo close-up you can still see that 'level 2' written across their faces

I can't wait for the final. See what happens there, there'll definitely be some tough competition for Isa & Oliv!

And as for the band on Olivier's wrist, I have no idea! Hope it's nothing serious, though (or just a strange piece of costume?).

Did anyone actually watch the movie ('The Piano'), I wonder? I did, I found it interesting but a little... strange, let's say.

Now, only to days to go until GPF!!! It takes place almost in front of my doorstep and I can't go because I'm completely broke... how pathetic is that?! >:(
