Thanks for the heads-up, Eva. It seems like to me that they won't go to Worlds... I was hoping that they would defend their title in L.A. and have been looking forward to seeing their programs at Worlds again, but I want Isabelle to recover completely and her health is more important than anything else. I think that earning a second World title would be great but it is not that significant. The Vancouver Olympics are their goal and I am sure that they will make a successful and strong comeback next season and stand on the podium of the Olympics with a gold medal! My fingers are crossed that her recovery is speedy and she is feeling better. Take care of yourself, Isabelle.

Yeah,I have the same feeling and I agree with all you said!!They'll certainly be missed in L.A. , but the important goal now is, Isabelle getting back to complete health and don't stress her shoulder too much after the surgery.....its better, not to risk anything, before the OCs !! All we can do now,is wishing her a quick recovery !! I'm still, curious though, what they're going to say on Friday.......

Since I was mentally prepared for it, I am not surprised by what they stated publicly. Yet I am still saddened that I won't be able to watch their performances at Worlds, particularly their wonderful free dance… However, I feel relieved that they made a wise decision on this matter because I did not want them to run a risk. As Olivier mentioned before, it was lucky for them that it happened this season rather than an Olympic season. I wish her the best of health and luck. Get well soon, Isabelle!
