Freefall - nice job you did with videos. You are specialist already... Actually you should credit Stephane with my computer expirience - he is the only reason why I got some skills in this computer business

freefall, thanks for the much-improved vids! What program do you use to clean up the videos? I used Magix Movie Edit Pro to clean up the 2002 Euros vid before I posted it, but it takes forever to encode and the vids don't come out as good as yours do. Thanks, sm PS - I already knew computers, but when I started collecting and editing videos, I needed to upgrade to a better computer with a much faster graphics card. Stéphane's also responsible for getting me interested in making banners, scrapbooking, and going to see competitions live. He's turned out to be a very expensive hobby.

Just another "practice video" (I love practice videos so much): www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUZcxrAyQOYOlympic practice of FS. It's weird, but, I think, after this video I really saw and felt "4 seasons" for the first time.

reut, thanks so much for posting this, I love it! In fact, I'm really getting into Stéphane skating in very simple black clothes. I think you see his skating better that way, if that makes sense

What program do you use to clean up the videos? I used Magix Movie Edit Pro to clean up the 2002 Euros vid before I posted it, but it takes forever to encode and the vids don't come out as good as yours do. Thanks, sm I used Total Video Converter. Unfortunately it's not a freeware, but it's really a wonderful thing to have on you computer if you want to edit some low quality vids made a long time ago which have been already converted and reconverted many times - it allows to change the size of the frame, the frame and bit rate, choose video and audio codecs, combine several files to one, extract video and audio, multiplex video and audio and has many other functions. It's wonderfully easy to use, and it makes its job guite fast, the background option is also avaluable. Its shortcomings are: it can not convert to RM (and doesn't like to convert RM-files either), can not cut the vids in pieces and by merging the files makes the quality much worse than incoming file Q, so if you want to make a HQ montage you need another program PS - I already knew computers, but when I started collecting and editing videos, I needed to upgrade to a better computer with a much faster graphics card. Stéphane's also responsible for getting me interested in making banners, scrapbooking, and going to see competitions live. He's turned out to be a very expensive hobby. As for me "before Stephane" I knew how to type a text document or to watch a movie on the computer and that was all I didn't even know what browser is - so my story is about how a blind person learned how to see or something like that - even my friends whose profession are computers were really excited about my fast progress in it - all I know about internet, downloading, uploading, computer language, converting and editing videos, communication on internet forums and of course figure skating rules (I didn't know almost anything about this sport!) - all that I learned during 4 months (November and December 2008, January and February 2009) - but that took really MUCH time - it's actually not my nature to work so hard, but you know of course what a great inspiration Stephane's skating is But I would like to ask you for some advice too if you don't mind - I am looking for some programs, if you know some programs which have the functions I describe here please let me know 1. the one which can join several files into one without losing the quality (if it can work with different formats, not only AVI - wonderful!) 2. the one which can cut the video exactly in the pieces you need (if it can work with different formats, not only AVI - wonderful!) 3. and one more (but actually I don't know if people use only one program to do it) - it allows to synchronize video and audio tracks from different videos if they have different length or like that - maybe some kind of video editor I am not too good in explaining such things - I am really sorry if I wasn't clear enough I'll be thankful for any information you can give me

freefall, thank you for converting and uploading these videos. Your work is so precious for Stephane's fans. I even found one performance I didn't see before (I thought it was impossible )

Its shortcomings are: it can not convert to RM (and doesn't like to convert RM-files either) This is weird, 'cause I've downloaded some free trial once and was able to convert *.rm file. I remember that for sure, 'cause you can see the "signature" of the program on the video ( here). This program is great: Virtual DubIt for sure will help you with 1 and 2, 3 I never tried. and thank you SO much for all the videos!!! (P.S. maybe you would like to share them with lambiel_ru too? )

The story of this video is in the old photos / articles repost thread, but as it is a video it actually belongs here: 2002 Salt Lake City Closing Ceremony (2-3 seconds) www.mediafire.com/?loy5mmmhiom (MPEG-4 video, works best in my Quicktime Player)

Yes, it can covert some RM-files to other formats, but that doesn't always work and you can not convert MOV, AVI, MPG or any other vids TO *.rm - I meant that Thank you for the recommendation, I will try this program (P.S. maybe you would like to share them with lambiel_ru too? ) I don't mind at all , but you know how difficult it is to me to make a post there, so if you are kind enough to do it for me you are welcome to use my links (with a small condition not to post them on YOUTUBE). I have some problems with setting a Custon URL on my mediafire account, so this is a direct link to my Lambiel files on mediafire www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=6064d6c8e6d893134012e8015643d9c8949712a8a88282aa - most of the vids stored there were edited by me, all the converted vids posted here are placed there.
