In addition to my yesterday's reply I would like to add, that Plushenko was in the jury of the skating competition Stars on Ice in the Russian TV Channel Rossija in autumn 2009 for several months and this year he could participate in all competitions. This was a similar show with Dancing with the Stars, only on ice. I really do not understand, why Stephane alone is punished so hardly. It makes me cry and very sad. It really seems that if he wants to compete again, he needs a good lawyer. It feels dramatic when he can not compete being at the best skaters age and at the peak of his career.
This Thin Ice project has been in his schedule for a long time already, then the contract must have been signed also for a long time ago, but the problem arose only this week. This is really strange.

I agree that it seems a harsh punishment for Stephane. It seems mean and it hurts me because he doesn't deserve to be treated harshly. Anyway, I don't really understand the rules. I want Stephane to be treated with respect, he deserves it.

Here is similar article I think: www.nachrichten.ch/detail/431656.htmAll we know is that Stephane didn't officially retire even if he doesn't plan on continuing competitions. He doesn't want to make a big fuss about it and is leaving quietly. Nobody seems to know what ISU will do with it but for now they said the Swiss fed no to Euros in Bern.

Not a public profile, no. There are several Stephane Lambiels on Facebook, but none of them is the real thing. As far as I know, he does have a profile, but for private use only.

He has one and it's the 'real him' but he only accepts people he really knows. He deserves his privacity

Update update! On his website, both in journal and news. Both made me feel.. don't know, whatever. Read it and: "Enjoy life, it’s too short to complain."
