I was watching some Olympic performances again today and Adrian's two skates still make me want to do my happy dance I'm thrilled he showed what he is capable of doing and delivered two amazing programs under pressure in Vancouver, especially his breathtaking and flawless free skate. Landing two quads in his first Olympics must have been a great confidence boost for him! I hope he skates two clean programs and enjoys the moment in Turin!! Go Adrian go!

Interview with Adrian on Eurosport: He was happy, this was his time and he was happy he finally managed to get it together on the ice during a competition. When asked how much he trains he says 4 hours on the ice, but is busy with it all day, travelling, thinking. Skating is his life

Thanks for the interview with Adrian, Mireille! I am watching ETV, as always, which did not show it, so your post is appreciated! It was indeed a great performance and he has beaten his personal best score! I'm thrilled for him Way to go, Adrian!

Way to go, Adrian! Indeed, great skate! I think he played it smart by not including the quad in the sp, this way he was sure to secure many points and it paid off!

Indeed, great skate! I think he played it smart by not including the quad in the sp, this way he was sure to secure many points and it paid off! Yeah, it worked out well and I'm pleased to see how it turned out. Well I was actually expecting him to go for 4-3, though. I didn't think he would play it safe here, but there must have been a reason. And I have no complaints at all There is a saying, giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go. Well done Adrian! You have made us proud again Oh btw, I'm going to miss his soft, lyrical and beautiful classical SP so much!
