...Salut, Annelfie, wishing Stéphane all the best and all the love he needs in his private life. I think this is the answer on your question To keep this a place for friendly discussions, there are some guidelines: Do not discuss matters of a sexual nature or discuss the personal lives / love lives of a skater on this board. We don´t allow gossip or speculation.

annelfie, I don't think you should take very seriously this site, especially all silly shipping stories there. I admit that sometimes I read it for interesting personal reports from events and they have translations of foreign articles but I try to skip comments. Probably, it's all meant to be fun, not mean but some things are cringe worthy when concerning real people and real lives.

And I think such disussions are against the rules protecting privacy so maybe you could remove the part of your comment. No offense, nothing personal. It wouldn't be nice to have silly arguments or any gossiping or other unpleasent things again. Thanks for the info, now I know how to value that information ( it's some kind of sick joking around. I updated my entry. Is that one allright now? I let the link in the entry, so everyone is warned about that site now. Salut, Annelfie, hoping she has acted by the rules here now, and likes to hear if it still isn't correct. Sorry for the fuss, but I'm actually glad I asked it, because it helps me value sites and their information. Thank you for sharing that knowledge

annelfie, thanks. I'm not any authority to say what should stay or go, just my opinion. I didn't mean that the site is all wrong, but not everything that is posted can be controlled and not everything is reliable or serious, if someone doesn't like certain type of content better skip it. And I noticed they post this video Stephane hates so much with his old number but you can't force people not to do it. The Internet can be "evil" and tricky thing sometimes. Don't feel sorry, I hope everything is all right.

Now I have a technical question: How do you save one picture from an Adobe Flash slideshow? I would really like that pic of my banner for the scrapbook Well, I press "pause" on the control panel of the slideshow and then use WinShot - it just photographs the selected region of your desktop. But I must say that some guys here do know a better way because I found the picture you want on lambiel_ru and it is uncut (the snapshot I got was a bit smaller because I had to cut above the control panel). Here it is s07.radikal.ru/i180/1010/83/e433f215fd4f.jpgThanks for finding this pic for me, freefall! I've tried a similar approach - pause the slideshow and hit "print screen", then copy the image to MS Paint and edit it. But that's the hard way - there's got to be an easier way! annelfie, please don't feel bad about not meeting Stéphane. If it's meant to be, you will, and at exactly the right time. Most people have to spend a lot of money (like 3000 CHF for those Japanese fans ) to even get to where he'll be appearing. Then, particular circumstances have to come together just right in order to meet him. Once, I missed him by just about a minute because I had gone to the ladies' room! sm

annelfie, thanks. I'm not any authority to say what should stay or go, just my opinion. I'm allright. I didn't think you were an authority, I just agreed with your opinion and acted accordingly :-) Salut, Annelfie

I really like the EX program form Worlds 2006 skated to I don't wanna be by Gavid de Graw: As we can never see this program after I'm curious if is it here a littlle bit of improvisation? I always understood it was an improvisation. Some commentaries say so. That year he skated to: You're beautiful by James Blunt. But Albena and Denkova also skated to that music and since they both won gold, they would be skating right after one another. I think Stéphane offered to skate on something else. That's why you see in the extended version of this exhibition that they first started the wrong music, they started You're beautiful but he would be skating on something else. And later, when I knew this, I can see that he uses his stepsequence of his short program that year 'Dralion'. So I can recognize it might be a program that perhaps was not totally improvised on the ice at that moment, but I guess during that week of even the last practice, I don't know. In fact, I don't know it at all, I am just combining some things I heard and filling the rest in. Perhaps someone knows the story better ! Salut, Annelfie

That's how I suspected but wasn't sure.

Thanks Annelfie! That's how I suspected but wasn't sure. This program emits pure happiness of skating doesn't it? Love it! Well, I am not totally sure either, just sharing what I remember :-) And o, yes, I totally LOVE this performance. I remember seeing it back in 2006 and being impressed by it already. I was not on the internet then, just following Eurosport. After Vancouver I 'discovered' the presence of figure skating on the internet, how everything could be watched on YouTube, and being kept up to date through a forum like this. I rediscovered this performance and whenever I need some cheering-up, I watch it. Indeed, he was so happy and relaxed and totally enjoying himself on the ice. "I don't wanna be anything else than what I've been trying to be lately"I bet he wouldn't and that shows !!! Thanks for bringing this one up again, always nice to share the happiness about a performance with other people! Salut, Annelfie
