Kind of surprised I didn't see any reaction at all here. This is quite exceptional and unusual (for him) what Stephane did. I was super excited. Did everyone manage to follow all questions and answers? Do you want me to copy them here (and translate those in French)? I was very excited about this Q&A, too, and was glad that the questions mostly were reasonably interesting - I was afraid there would be a lot of the usual silly or intrusive questions. Hopefully Stephane was happy enough with the result that he'll consider doing it again (I very much miss his charming journal from a few years ago so it was nice to see his writing again). My French is poor but fortunately was adequate for the short answers. Good to know he'll be in Torino next month, and my favorite answer was his "oops!" story about Wonka's big surprise for him!!

Exactly the same for me as for tisha: I was afraid of the questions in FB, for the same reason. I anyway could read them only yesterday … and was glad to see that there were quite many interesting ones. For example when Stephane is asked: "What program of an other skater had the biggest impact on you?" Stephane answers: "Winter by Alexei Yagudin, how cool would it be to see it at Ice Legends!". Wow! That would be great! … And a reason for itself to go to see Ice Legends! And there are many not answered questions. I hope that, little by little, Stéphane finds and takes the time to answer some more of them.

http://instagram.com/p/v-3JDhBj-M Apparently many people came to see Stéphane. Glad for him! Looks as if he was wearing his "Grieg" costume? And good publicity for "Ice Legends". Just found an article: tdg.ch/geneve/with many photos. (The costume is from AOI 2011, I see ). I can't give the link to the whole article (error … forbidden), unfortunately. But translation: Stéphane Lambiel makes the show in Carouge
To inaugurate the seasonal ice rink and to announce 'Ice Legends', Stephane Lambiel and Sarah Meier presented an extract of the show as preview. A World Champion and an European Champion in action on the "Place de Sardaigne": Carouge has had this exceptional moment Saturday at noon. The Valaisan and the 'Zurichoise' showed, in preview, an extract of the show by giving to the crowd a too short sample of their still so exciting talents. Framed by presentations of some young skaters and an American-Luxemburg pair, the appearance of the two stars, announced as for half an hour, limited itself in about four minutes for Sarah Meier (in mesh tights, top hat, cane), Cabaret-style, and the same for Stéphane. The Olympic medalist who continues to emanate the same magnetism won the public by offering several superb jumps and spins of which only he knows the secret ... "It's really nice to be in such direct contact with the spectators. It was a pleasure to share my passion with such a warmhearted audience. And I like to skate outside, in open air: There are no limits…", Stéphane confided when leaving the ice, after a final with the group. Short break before returning to give an express course to ten children. There have been so many that the lucky ones had to be chosen by drawing, leaving behind many others disappointed.

That would be great! … And a reason for itself to go to see Ice Legends! Actually I wasn't excited to read that. The level of Alexei's skating is pretty low now (there are reasons for this, but still that's a fact) and to see legendary program performed poorly won't do good to anyone (correction: to anyone who understands skating a little bit). I saw "Winter" performed in 2008 and it was already "not that", now it will be even worse... Sorry to spoil the excitement... Theatrical pieces with almost no skating, like the "Oblivion" (one of his recent ones), make better impression. IMHO. I might be wrong but I don't think he will.

I doubted when I first and only saw the instagram picture … but then everything was clear with the tdg-pictures .

I might be wrong but I don't think he will. I doubt too, … but I would wish to have answered at least the question about his performance for "Dom Perignon" (how he chose the program and if he wants to do something like this again). But as he says, there might be another Q&A-session later on. Maybe then is the occasion again.

If there are good questions there fans can ask them at the next fan meeting which hopefully (not sure yet) will be in Bellinzona. That specific question was good (and I know the person who asked it ), maybe he didn't answer because it was too much to type!

I thought it just MUST still exude some of it's magic. But it's true, it would be disappointing to see the magic distorted.

Thanks, pia. About the second link: Swiss Airways will have some entertainment stand at Place Neuve (in Geneva) and Stéphane will be present there at 14:00 for autographs (as he is now officially "Friend of Swiss").
