Thank you, kindredspirit ! Reut, I'm terrified by the grasshopper picture I hear the Italian translator tells "Alyssa", I can't hear what Stéphane tells ...

Thank you for providing the detailed view of those protruding legs and this black unidentified substance... You have no mercy, reut!

Pia Yes, I'm here … even though not for quite a while and only for a small moment now: I just don't find the needed inner and outer calm those days to attentively follow the latest posts . Right now just a quick THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for all your posts, videos, articles, translations, stories, pictures, comments etc etc., here and on Ice Legends thread !! I WILL read them and watch them with pleasure … a bit later . It's great and incredible how you all manage so nicely to bridge the gap (for me it's a gap) … until Stephane will FINALLY be skating again end of May. I miss him skating so much, and I'm nostalgic that there's no 'Kings on ice' this spring and no 'All that Skate' any longer … the latter took place around these days usually (and always with lots of photos and videos). I really miss it! By the way: I actually started to translate the "Pirouette" article, but it will take time to be ready (fore the above mentioned reason). But as it's not "breaking news" it does not matter so much if it takes another week or so, I hope ?!

I miss Stéphane's skating too very much and have already a feeling that it was sooo much time ago when he skated in a show And I miss very much All That Skate too - I think it was one of the absolute best in the world, great quality and ofc - all the beauty we got to see... I rewatched recently Operapop on Ice, for me the most impressive show I ever saw, it's amazing how they both - he and Carolina do it, and a thought came to my mind - such an artist who can perform in such level and now he has no possibility to perform already 3 months. I understand that it's maybe good, he can rest and work with his skating school but still - such enormous talent and potential and I'm not sure, can he realize it enough...

Wow, pia, aren't you exaggerating? With the amount of shows he has don't you think he deserves this time for himself? I don't know any professional skater who has as many shows as he has now. I don't know how to say it, don't take me wrong, please, but I get a constant feeling from your words - both these and always complaining about "not enough interviews" - that you never can get enough. He is a human being, you know. And he has his "normal" life too. With the amount of news we have and with the amount of shows he is invited to, to say he can't fulfill his potential and his talent is wasted is close to being ungrateful. To God, Universe or whatever. jomeku, hope you will find the inner and outer calm soon. And thank you for translating the article about Skating School. Of course, we can wait. As for the news from the shows, I might sound pessimistic, but these are going to be shows in Japan, so I don't expect much news, photos or videos... P.S. I'm afraid "Femina" magazine's definition of "soon" is a bit different from mine.

To God, Universe or whatever. They were just my subjective thoughts and of course he does soo much and the more he has right to rest and have time for himself. I didn't write my thoughts because I demand something - of course no, like everyone else, I'm glad about everything he gives. About interviews - there really is not too many of them, don't you think? But it is how it is, if no then no. I'm fully aware of that. Just main thing I wanted to say and maybe didn't express myself enough clearly is that watching for instance Operapop on Ice you can see how big his artistic potential is and I just wish he could get more chances like that to express it.

Even more before the shows, "Ice Legends" and "Art on Ice", but now too. There are news, links, photos, videos almost constantly. For the person who is finishing his fifth season as a retired sportsman it's A LOT.

In my memory, 'Operapop on Ice' is the most impressive skating-show I have seen too, and the one I most remember. Maybe because it told a story, it was one piece (if you put beside the 'interruptions', with singers and so on). It was a team-effort with high level skating… And Caroline & Stephane as lead skaters. At the same time performers, entertainers, and actor (great to watch Stephane's acting in the 'Birth of passion'-part). I guess they also had quite some influence in the development of the whole story. Stephane during the fan-meeting in Verona said something like "He liked the concept of the show, the potential is there ... and he wished they could develop it into something even more … ?" Wouldn't it be great if they had the chance and time and means to concretize this vague idea. Well, that's wishful thinking from my side and not even an illusion. But that's what I think of when we talk about Stephane's potential. Talking about 'Operapop' I wonder if s'thing similar will take place in Verona this year? I hope so … but? Another question concerning last years Operapop: Does anybody know if there's a DVD about it? I've never seen anything or heard anything, unfortunately.

I think it has never been released. On this page there are only DVDs from previous editions.

And I thought the same: ... to develop it into something even more … ?"Wouldn't it be great if they had the chance and time and means to concretize this vague idea." No info about Opera on Ice so far, I only heard that Carolina had some changes in her management. Maybe our italian girls know better?

Personally, I know nothing about a new Opera Pop. I was doing some research about it just some days ago, but nothing came out. Of course you will be the first to know if I find out something!

Thank you, Gaja and kindredspirit, for your researches. Let's keep hoping … . As for a DVD (which I would love to have but guess it does not exist - yet) I think we would have to ask 'Canale 5' or 'Intimissimi'. But it would take big efforts, I fear. So, the same: I keep hoping .
