Thank you so much, taipeifollowers and JYC for all the scans and translations of Japanese articles. It's interesting to know what is written about Stephane in Japan and I'm impressed by the amount of articles that appeared about his work.

Obviously Swiss TV RTS will have a christmas program with some swiss celebrities - including Stéphane - from a chalet in Verbier. During the shooting they talked about christmas in the family, faith and solidarity in a turmoiled world. Stephane says that christmas was always a very busy time for him because of the skating season that did not allow him to have excesses. When he was a competitor there were the european championships in January and he went to work for them three weeks in advance. And now there are the shows. During the last three years he spent christmas in Japan, this year in Moscow. Stephane and his team celebrate in their own way: "There's a very strong bond of friendship and solidarity between us. We share, we make gifts and spend a good time together. Whether in Japan, Moscow or Saxon". After the recent tragedies he's convinced that art helps to forget the terrifying actualities for a while. "Art relieves and makes one dream. When I attend a show, I escape and forget the outside world. That's why we have to do our work well."

www.blick.ch/sport/wintersport/eiskunstlauf/slalom-talent-zieht-mit-eislauf-legende-heisse-kurven-chable-uebt-mit-lambiel-den-stangentanz-id4453815.htmlNo special news. Just a young skier who meets Stephane in Champéry. She skated in earlier years and now meets her former idol in Champéry. Stephane says he's a bad skier, he has no technique but does everything with the strength he has in his legs. But it's nice to see Stephane skating. And I like Stephane's outfit . Thanks to his pink socks that go well with the shirt … I almost have the impression it could be a costume, for a new program, maybe. A light-molded one (I imagine something like 'Singing in the rain'). Just my imagination . Those two videos from Verbier and Champéry were taken one or two weeks ago, obviously. I wonder WHEN Stephane actually travelled or travels to Moscow to prepare his role for 'The Perfume'. Isn't it high time start rehearsing ? Are there any news about it?

Thank you for the link, jomeku. Didn't understand a word but it's always nice to see him. Love to follow his expressions when he listens. As for the clothes he is wearing it's just his usual "off ice" clothes, it's not pink socks but the ending, the hemline of the pants. He was in them at some off ice event, we had some photos. He said they will have a week of rehearsals for the show in Moscow. It's still early for him to depart there, he will go in a week or so I guess. We agreed with him about the fan meeting, no specific details yet, but I hope it happens as they were waiting for him to come to Russia for a year and a half, since May 2014 in St.Petersburg. Of course, I also hope we will have some nice videos.

Thank you for the explanations, reut! It's good to hear there will be a meeting in Moscow !! Great! I'm surprised one week of team rehearsals will be enough for a whole rock-opera. But well, I guess all the participants are preparing their parts by themselves and they just need to put the pieces together in the end? We'll see … maybe … if it's allowed to film during the show? I'm curious. Obviously my imagination went to far with Stephane's "usual" "off-ice" clothes being a costume . We had photos? And his expression while she's talking, lol! It looks as if he was trying to catch her words by reading from her lips or from her facial expression .

Sounds not very professional, I'm bewildered a bit. Does Stephane really participate at an event where they will just "do something"? Would be strange, at least . I see that nothing is clear yet, even not the meeting . I'll try not to have too high expectations, then. But do hope everything will work out in a satisfying way, finally. And thank you for the photo, reut !

Well, I'm sure Stephane will give his 100% as always, but I don't expect any original and exquisite choreo. Let's hope I'm wrong. I actually do expect an original choreo … as Stephane can't possibly perform something like 'Let the good times role', or so, to portray the somber character of 'The Parfumer'. I don't see any of his programs that could be adapted to it. All his programs are somehow emotional, 'Grenouille' is a character that has no emotions. Will be interesting if and how Stephane will fit into this challenge. Thank you for the article about swiss nationals. I think it does not need to be translated, it's about the lack of support for young swiss skaters; Stephane mentioned it often. And thank you also for the lovely photo of nine years old Stephane with Nikolaus. Stephane tells that every year a person from Saxon disguised as Nicolaus and made his tour through the bistros of the village to distribute small presents to the children. The one on this photo, Stephane says, "has not been at the first bar of his tour here".

Well, there is original choreo and there is something like "beautiful movements and sliding from here to there" to the music and more or less in character. I expect the latter. Especially because the music is not very interesting/inspiring (at least what I heard of it). Also, from previews in some articles I understood that the main focus won't be on skaters, but on "overall look", stage, etc. But like I said, I'd be happy to be wrong.
