Stephane is such a fascinating person, then why was it so boring to read this? lol Anyway, I'm really glad, finally some long and detailed interview in English. We didn't have one for years, literally.

Boring!? You mean, there was nothing new? Then I'm the lucky rookie for whom every single piece of information is like a treasure I think the part about Mr. Mishin was particularly interesting

Was there something new? I think all the parts about Mishin (including "Her coach, Alexei Mishin, is quite involved in the creation of his skaters' programs. I wish he would give them more freedom", loooved how political correct he formulated that ) already were mentioned in choreo thread. Nothing new about choreos, nothing new about Skating School... I loved a few ideas he mentioned, most of them also not for the first time. But they were mostly not because he was asked about that, but "in spite of". But by "boring" I also meant style. Stephane is not talking like that, it wasn't a lively person who I usually can see in Swiss interviews, and, well, in real life. It was either heavily edited piece or interview via email and Stephane trying to sound much more "mature" and "correct" than he should and than he is.

I have a request: Is there anybody from this board who has got this magazine from 'World Figure Skating' and who can maybe share a scan of Stéphane's part with us … or translate it. Would be so nice !

Stephane is now on his way from Japan to Kuala Lumpur for the IOC YOG session, according to his twitter. This man is astonishing! One of the many reasons we love him, I guess!!!

In a mood of thinking about Youth Olympics I recalled YOG in Innsbruck and felt like sharing some #ThrowbackThursday photos and videos on lambielnews Twitter: 1 23 4 5What an AMAZING experience it was!! I really hope Lausanne wins, they deserve it and have all the means to make it an unforgettable experience.

Stéphane is going to tell in his tomorrow's speech that Worlds in Lausanne in 1997 is what made him choose the career in figure skating. www.24heures.ch/sports/doux-lobbying-lausannois-joj-2020/story/27268633

Wow, Stéphane and Denis look smart in their IOC-suit !
I'm so proud of Stéphane, that he takes the responsibility to support his hometown, Lausanne, for the Youth Olympics 2020. The french text reut cites above says that Stéphane, together with the Swiss minister of sports, will be the spearheads of the Swiss presence in Kuala Lumpur and will speak at tomorrows IOC-session (…). You are right, tisha, he IS astonishing! Thank you, also, reut, for recalling your Innsbruck Youth Olympics experience! I thought Stéphane was a wonderful role-model for the cause already then .
