OT: Also very happy to know that the audience was so receptive to Elladj Balde's skating. I have a soft spot in my heart for Elladj and hope he has a wonderful career as a pro skater now that he's officially retired from competitions.

Compulsory performance, isn't it ?! Yep. Saturday night after party, the last one, is always the funniest and Steph is always more free and usually sings (but now all journalists have to come on Thursday only )

There was a link to some article in German about them, but I couldn't open a link, it required subscription or something like that. Was there anything new? AOI organizers are good at such things as flowers and presents, they probably thought about something. I still wonder why suddenly it's officially his last time in AOI. But he will still skate, so why?

Me too, I wonder about this 'officially' last time for AOI. I mean, many skaters were taking part in AOI ... and one day just were not anymore. So why this "official" last time with Evgeni? Maybe they wanted to give him special attention by 'officializing' it, as he has participated in AOI so many times.
