My parents used to speak Finnish with me and my brother when we were really small, though we replied in Swedish. And then my mama figured the was no need for me to learn Finnish, so Swedish's my lingo.

"My parents used to speak Finnish with me and my brother when we were really small" so did mine therefor I did not learn any Swedish nowdays I replay in Swedish too. My mother is from a Swedish speaking area. There are more Swedes on this board though susanna

I use the word "kebab" as a substitute for swearwords and the phrase "What?" I guess it started with the Spanish "Que?" and then turned into "Kebab?"... But I like eating kebab too, and I'm lucky enough to have a restaurant here in Klippan that serves the best kebab I've tasted so far!
