Can't quite believe the result. There is a British ice dance team in a medal position. 'Nuff said.
Also, well done to Mark and Chrissy for getting into the top 20. I don't think Phil and Philippa would have done much better, tbh.

Perhaps, just perhaps there will be some coverage in the British media (apart from the Herald whic is very good) of S&J now that they are looking for a medal?
Don't bet on it....

Congratulations to Sinead and John for the top 3 and their personal best score. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them! Go Sinead & John! You are the best!

I'm happy & sad at the same time !. I'm over the moon John & Sinead are in a medal place but could not understand why Faeilla & Scalli got such a high mark with an error. I think if they & Domnina & Shabolin had both skated clean we would have had a Russian 1 & 2. The sad thing is that I have an bad feeling that Domnina & Shabolin will catch up in the OD & fight for the silver with the Italians with Khokhlova & Novitski running away with the gold leaving John & Sinead in 4th. It's going to be interesting to see what goes on Thursday

I always suspect and expect a shafting so I am prepared for disappointment. It's a coping mechanism. I won't believe it still I see it - a podium finish. I do believe in them though.

I'm with you Mel, I did a happy dance when I came home and saw the result of the CD but, then I saw D&S in 5th and went oh...sugar! I believe that S&J have one of the best ODs and FDs this year but, I fear that somehow they will end up in 4th - I soo want to be wrong though!

On a replay of CDs, British Eurosport failed to show 3rd place (Brits), but showed 1st, 2nd and 5th. Crap.

Another ice resurfacing. Maybe they'll show S&J and an interview with them?
Hmmmmm...
