Well, would be quite a fruitful collaboration I guess . Why not. Reut: once you have relaxed and find the time - Would you mind telling what Deniss said in the Mixed Zone after his FS? I've seen two or three photos, but no clip or report or so? I’m also curious if he had more to say that Reut can tell us, but the ISU Quote after the FS was: Deniss Vasiljevs (LAT), 2018 World Championships 6th (On being nervous) Honestly yes, I was very calm in term of quietness but I was very worried the moment I had to commit to it. Especially with the beginning, cause at the beginning, the quad, it’s still not an element I’m doing with closed eyes so I couldn’t so I could not really through myself into it. You know, when you’re at the cliff and you have to jump, the hardest it to jump. That was exactly what I missed and then “Oh, my god, I missed something”. And usually when you fall straight forward, you’re like “Ok, no margin for mistake”. So here as it was not really done but it was still kind of something done, so it was more of a planning that took me off the course. (On what he will take from the Championships)Work more. Work on the quantities of done elements, especially quads because so far I have 80 landed quads in total so expecting that it will happen in competition is pretty high risk. I went for the risk and it didn’t pay off so I hope to get to 200 and that it will be easier. I need to work on all areas (artistic and technique) even if you think I should work more on technique, I should work more on skating to make it easier cause afterwards during practices I have landed all these jumps, not once, not twice, more than that and I have little mistakes in execution but when it comes to the full runthrough, like I have clean run throughs lately but competitions there is more emotions and I think if I could find a way to reduce this energy use and sense of emotion while you perform, it should help me ease preparation and focus on the jumps.

Reut: once you have relaxed and find the time - Would you mind telling what Deniss said in the Mixed Zone after his FS? I've seen two or three photos, but no clip or report or so? So, after FS Deniss gave a few interviews, there was one journalist already there waiting for him when Marina and I came, so we gave him space to ask his questions "exclusively", I heard them and answers, nothing new there, I don't know where it will be published. Then Marina and I talked (mostly me ), during the talk Stephane joined and answered a few things too. Marina recorded the audio (she started recording video but was reminded that "writing press" is not allowed to do that, so we switched to audio, unfortunately). First I just thought to write it down and share here, but now I think I might use it in "Euros highlights" article I suddenly decided to write, so you will need to wait a little longer. Then I left but there was at least one more journalist waiting for him and he also did an interview for Belarussian TV, he gave it to the girl who was sitting right opposite me in the press center, so I have her contacts and the name of the channel where it will be broadcast (don't have it with me at the moment). Btw that girl also interviewed Stephane. So, some nice things are still to come. "You will see" as The Coach loves to say.

That's interesting! Thank you, fourthdimension! I'm glad to see that Deniss was not too sad after his performance, but rather in analysing spirit. Seems there's still quite a long way for him to go in order to get stability with his quad toe. But I hope that, once he can do it 'with closed eyes' it will be much easier to learn further quads. I'm confident he'll succeed ... with patience.

Oh, I'm patient! (sometimes ) ...Especially when I know there are still nice things to come . "You will see" ... That made me laugh so hard when I watched the video of the meeting. Especially when you can see Stéphane's expression in the first video on FB Thanks for answering !

I've forgotten: he has too much free time ! LOL, totally! (but to tell the truth at Europeans Evgenia and Vladimir did look like that need some urgent first-aid)

So, let's hope this short "first-aid" in Champéry has a positive effect on them ! Stephane "loves, loves" them and I guess it was a pleasure for him to work with them. (But now ... I hope he's ready for AOI !! )

Koshiro won Bavarian Open today, his senior international debut. He now has the TES minimums for senior worlds (though hopefully he won’t be needed as the 3rd alternate). Matilda also did well today at the Nordics competition, after a very bad short program. It was nice to see Rob with Koshiro and Anna with Matilda - I think the first time I’ve seen Anna go to a competition- and to know that Stéphane’s team is capable of carrying on the coaching when he is in the show!

Thank you, for the news, fourthdimension! I was afraid Matilda had to go alone to the competition. Good to know Anna was with her

I think I didn't share in the end the link here, that "highlights" article I mentioned above: absoluteskating.com/articles/2019eurostidbits.htmlNothing new in Stéphane's part, just some selected quotes from the fan meeting. And as a bonus, their interview from the mixed zone they recorded for someone, but I didn't see the original anywhere: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MsPONBnvzsUnfortunately I didn't record the most funny part when they were trying and re-trying to record it a few times. The one on the video is the last try.

It makes sense she wasn’t going to competitions earlier, I was just happy that Matilda had her with her in Sweden. I get a little annoyed when some fans on twitter forget she exists, like worrying that no one is coaching in Champéry when Stéphane and Robert were both at competitions this fall.
