EMJO, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Back to Nationals Markus Björk had a break last year.To my very big surprise he was suddenly not at practise(I go dwon to the rink from time to time)then in January (or march) think it was I saw him watching a comp and he said he had missed it so much so he came back.He has always had good expresion and emotions skets to the music.I will never forget his Elvis interpretation for a gala once.Super great he is in the lead. Did Marcus take a break because of injury? Well, whatever the reason, I'm glad that he came back! If you get the chance to talk to him, perhaps you can mention that there is now a Canadian who admires his skating style and she hopes to see more of it in the future! ;D .He is also a guy with nerves (and brains the guy is smart) Ah, so Marcus an intellectual like Koffe. (I'm a geeky girl, so I'm naturally drawn to brainy guys. ) The points seemed a little too high for me (Kristoffer and Adrian) and also that vicky is in the lead ... At least in North America, it's normal for the scores at Nationals to be inflated compared to what you normally see in international competitions, especially for skaters who are favoured by the federation. (You should see Patrick Chan's scores at the Canadian Championships! ) .At press conf I was the only female press rep That surprises me. There are notable figure skating reporters in Canada who are female (Beverley Smith from the Globe & Mail, for instance). Perhaps there aren't many journalists in Sweden who specialize in figure skating, so the newspaper/TV station/website simply sends one of their sports reporters (which I imagine would usually be a male). I hope the guys you saw at the press conference weren't too obvious about their preference to interview the ladies skaters. I know that snow looks pretty for people who don't normally experience it, but at least for me, it's more trouble than it's worth. Don't forget that it often comes with chilly winds and icy conditions...

Markus took a break from figure skating due to no injury but just a break..... Figure skating in Sweden is not so big that we have papers sending figure skating journalists, it is sports journalists and they are still mostly men.Canada is a way bigger FS country than sweden .I whish it was the same here. Points were /are def high due to the same reason in Sweden as on other nationals but it might give the skaters the wrong signal. However they ARE aware of it.Well at least the swe skaters are Snow indeed looks pretty and it is a contrast to what was before it looked pretty as Siberia said.by the way this is the coldest winter for 150 years in Sweden.Even down where I live it is never this cold so early. It already started in nov
