I hope he is happy with this news... I personally quite satisfied since I am seeing Stephane in St Petersburg (if everything goes well) Good luck for the Grand prix, Steph!

well, Céline, is this what he had hoped for probably not, but unlike some other federations, Switzerland isn't quite powerful enough to arrange things as their skaters want... I guess he'll be happy to go to China though

I am quite disappointed as he told me here in Everett, Washington that he hoped for Skate America and Skate Canada, and he definitely needs more North American press. I went to Skate Canada twice to see him and he couldn't be there and now the year that he could be, they assign him somewhere else. Oh well, I know he will be the champion again, there is no one else like him at all. And I will forever be happy with the 30 minutes, 12 hugs and 18 kisses on the 27th of April, in Everett, Washington. He was so incredibly charming and willing to spend time with me. I am so lucky to have had that time. I will never forget it. Shirley in Seattle

Hindernisse, it's nothing against Russia. Stéphane likes Piter, but he prefers other places and would like to compete in other countries, too. I know he would have liked to go to SA or SC, but there was basically no chance since Buttle and Lysacek had the priority for those... I was hoping he'd get Paris though, as he had been invited there the past 4 seasons. Oh well, maybe the evil French fed didn't want Brian to have to face him that early in the season?!

Darn, I wish he'd come to the states so I can watch him in competition...ah well. One day I'll have the schedule to travel to see him in Europe...(stupid finals and school, I was hoping to go to Worlds at least, but I don't know how feasible that will be as I also might have finals during that week)

School really is a problem sometimes I mean..I could go to Russia...I think money isn't a problem I hope..but just because of school it won't work Oh..I really hope that in the future it's possible for me too to go to some events..just have to! I hope Stéphane will have a great time in Russia and in China!
