stephanie2006, thanks for the update. Hm, sounds interesting. I noticed today that we can hear it live too: rsr.infomaniak.ch/player/player.html#1Looking forward to the evening. I hope it'll be something light and funny, don't know why but I still have rather sad after-taste from the documentary.

Again - if some wonderful person could make a transcript in French and English, I, and I'm sure many others, would be so grateful.

Eeeeee, I'm hearing Stephane live over my internet. Don't ask me what exactly he's saying though

Okay, Stephane mentioned that as for now he is in Switzerland (he was asked between which countries they caught him ) and that he plans to work with young talents and make choreo for them in the coming weeks. He introduced Surya as his big friend. They met in some small show in Villars when he was a young skater, then they met again and toured in US. They talked a bit about Surya's career. Surya was asked to describe Stephane: from the first moment she felt great about him, maybe because he is Swiss (and Swiss are always nice) and talks French; he is very original skater, nobody can copy him (Steph: I'm going to blush), he is nice and a bit crazy. She took his phone number after the tour because she was sure she'd want to keep in touch with him, and hoped he will send her more Swiss chocolate. Sorry, not sure everything is exact.

I wrote few notes while listening, I will correct them a bit and will write them down. Surya is VERY talkative actually and I can't believe that in the program where Stephane was the main guest he hardly spoke!! Those were quite a few new things I learned: - in the beginning of July he will depart to Vietnam(!), it's a UNISEF project, something connected to children. - when he signed for "Thin Ice" he knew that he wouldn't be able to stay eligible, but he decided then already that he wouldn't continue - he doesn't know (or not that good?) to skate on roller blades. An hour with Stephane sitting there near her and that's all she could get. I will write down everything I could understand in a few minutes. Bottom line: it was a nice talk, mostly about Surya.

All the points I found interesting were mentioned by reut, thank you!
Not much news to learn in that radio show, I was bored... Surya got more time to talk overall and trash-talked about several aspects of the skating world. Stéphane had to answer mostly the same old questions. However they said really nice things about each other.

So, not much new out of all that? Surya was talking a lot. Maybe these interview hosts need to solicit the fans for questions I like hearing about the UNICEF trip. I am a big fan of a singer who is also a UNICEF ambassador, and I support them.

However they said really nice things about each other. Thanks for "double check": my French is still on such level that sometimes I can understand directly the opposite of what was said. I agree, that the talk overall was nice, I liked their connection to each other, loved Stephane's remarks (and I really love his laughter, less a laugh, more like "smile to microphone" . But bottom line: blah, she could be prepared better. She even didn't know that "Thin Ice" was in the past, she was surprised when Stephane said this.

These ladies talked a lot and Stephane is too polite to interrupt. Maybe just my impression but I thought it was pretty rude, they didn't allow him say much. It wasn't very interesting as I could understand with my very lame French, a lot of the same questions. They were complaining about ISU rules (rightfully) and again talk about Vancouver . He talked about choreography but I didn't understand very well, he's doing this next weeks. ?? Always nice to listen to Stephane though, but the host was quite terrible. I learnt more about Surya than Steph from this. Maybe someone will summerize Stephane's parts, please.

I really love his laughter, less a laugh, more like "smile to microphone" . Oh, yeah, I agree! I was wondering: Is there a particular Swiss French accent (or accents), and does Stephane have one? I found him the easiest of the three to understand (the moderator being the most difficult), but I still missed a lot of the meaning.
