Thanks for all the new pics and articles, everyone - it seems like ages since I've been here. An article about Swiss Nationals from our favorite "Figure Skating Examiner": www.examiner.com/x-20118-Figure-Skating-Examiner~y2009m12d12-Lambiel-and-Meier-repeat-as-Swiss-ChampionsThe December issue of International Figure Skating magazine has two articles about the Ice All Stars show in Korea this past August. One is about the show in general, the other about Michelle Kwan's comeback. There are two pics of Stéphane: img692.imageshack.us/img692/4093/ias1.jpgimg692.imageshack.us/img692/7434/ias2.jpgEach of the articles contained a brief mention of him as well. The first article said, "Lambiel has a personality to match his dashing good looks. The 24-year-old Swiss star was an inspiration to the entire cast throughout rehearsals and the shows. 'I really enjoy skating in shows, especially in Korea,', said the two-time World champion (2005-06). 'I think they are the best crowds, and it is always amazing to perform with great peers. It was a very nice group and it was a great production. We hope everyone enjoyed the shows.' " In the article about Michelle, she said, "There was a great cast of skaters that I have admired for a number of years. Being with Ilia (Kulik) and Stéphane (Lambiel) again was fun. I toured with them in Champions on Ice, so it was not so nerve-wracking to come back because I knew many of the skaters." Prior to Ice All Stars, the last time Michelle performed was in the last COI performance of 2006, on August 16. When I read Michelle's quote, it dawned on me that that was also the last time Stéphane performed in the US. sm

Thanks , pia Thank you for articles and pictures , everybody Beautiful pictures Thank you for a traslation , digitus quintus Could anybody tell me what this article means , please ? Is this a TV program or not ? Is this meaning he is a guest in a program ? sport.sf.tv/sendungen/sportloungeNamiki - it's a broadcast. He is guest there. There is written: Stéphane Lambiel - spagat between art and sport. Dilemma between art and sport for Stéphane Lambiel, between claim and reality. Again injured, he retired in autumn 2008. He thought, that he has done enough and wanted to save his body and do other pleasant things. He wanted to continue with galas, without going to the ends of the need. But something was still missing. he came back and wants to be amongst of winners at Olympic Games. What must he do for it? Must he make his programs more boring for to be more efficient? How are his chances of achieving his big goal? There are discussing with him in this broadcast 1. Sepp Schönmetzler, editor-in-chief of journal Eissport, former figure skater and winner at German Championships, biomechanic 2. Richard Wherlock, director and chief choreographer of the Ballet Basel. It is possible to watch SF2 in Keyhole TV, but quality is very low.
