I hope it doesn't sound rude, but I have to agree about Larissa I think that as a professional, she should sing better than him and support him.. in Helsinki it looked the contrary. Even if not perfect, his performance was not bad for someone who is not a singer - but hers ..? But maybe she couldn't hear the music well and that's why she was out of tune, sometimes it happens with live performances.. so good luck for the next time

I agree, that the new song is a bit shallow (esp. the music - very POP), but I like the way Stéphane sings it, because I know, he believes the words and knows, what does it mean, how much effort takes to live your fantasy. Larissa seems a bit cold to me. I red she won X- Factor - the competition for amateurs singers. The winner is quick-created celebrity, so I am not sure, how much professional she is. There was artical in our our newspapers, she had a big problem with her first CD, because it was similar to another.. but it depends on her manager, these people sign a contract and do not have a lot opportunity to influent it. Stéphane really looked much more professional and natural in Helsinki, he still tried to be in contact with her, but she looked like to sense only herself except of choreography at the end of song. Maybe there was a problem with technique, but I think she had a big problem to sing clean in some parts.. It is always a difference between recorded and live singing, probably the record - engineers did a good job or she was not in a good shape this time. I am curious, how successfull will they be in 2 weeks

Thank you, elanor, for the video from Stockholm . I always love to see Stephane skating Tell ... and in the grey training clothes in middle of Stockholm, it is too nice . Singing Stephane... . I admit I only felt easy and really liked to watch when I saw him (in TV or on videos) sing spontaneously (including karaoke , as I mentionned before. At the two "official" events he sang (two years ago in Swiss TV and now again in Helsinki) the feeling for me was a bit as reut describes above. I felt him so "tense", I felt "tense" too. But I found him really good and relaxed one year ago when I saw him sing during "la Revue". I wish him to be equally relaxed and to enjoy his singing adventure at AOI in two weeks, this fits because it is "his" show. And I wish him a good time also for "das Zelt" in March (and April?). As for me .... I wait desperately to see him skating again after this... (I will miss his skating during that time, I admit).

March, and April. And May, June, August... autumn 2013... even in December 2013 he will have some performances with the circus: www.daszelt.ch/de/programm/pdetail.php?aud=def&show=197It doesn't mean he won't skate in shows during all these months.

Oh, ohhh, I was completely wrong. I thought he would participate in "das Zelt" only in the beginning. Does this mean, for example, no "All That Skate" and no "Kings on Ice" tour this year ? (IF there is KOI at all - and Steph invited).

(IF there is KOI at all - and Steph invited). Of course, he will participate in all the shows of "Das Zelt", it's even called "Rock Circus with Stephane Lambiel". But maybe it's better to check the link first and see the dates? He doesn't have performances every second day of every month. About KOI specifically we talked in Prague, with Stephane and with Ari. At that moment (mid December) Stephane wasn't supposed to join KOI tour and wasn't aware of the dates, they were not in his schedule and planning. I still have a slight hope he might join part of the shows at least. Of course, updates will be here if I know anything for sure.

I didn't know where to put this, and it's definitely not new but the World Championships in Canada will start tomorrow, and on Absolute Skating facebook there is a question about our memorable performances from any of the "Canadian Worlds".. So here it is, obviously: Stéphane Free Skating, Calgary 2006 www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-mBK3uvKPAunforgettable.. it was 4.30 am here, a whole night watching the men final, and Stéphane skated last.. it's nice to watch it again now, and remember how many emotions I felt ( lol, about the commentary.. they say "WOW" so many times! ) Good luck to all the skaters in London!
